Als uw BlackBerry®-toestel gebruikmaakt van BlackBerry® Internet Service, kunt u uw BlackBerry® Device Software bijwerken door uw toestel
met uw computer te verbinden en de website met upgrades te bezoeken. U kunt zich ook aanmelden om e-mailberichten te ontvangen wanneer
nieuwe software voor uw toestel beschikbaar is.
De eerste keer dat u de website met updates bezoekt, downloadt u de BlackBerry® Application Loader naar uw computer. Daardoor kunt u uw
software bijwerken zonder verbinding te maken met het draadloze netwerk en zonder gegevensverkeer te genereren binnen uw abonnement.
De duur van het updateproces kan variëren van 15 minuten tot 2 uur. Dit is afhankelijk van het type update, de hoeveelheid toestelgegevens
en het aantal toepassingen op uw toestel. Terwijl u de software installeert, kunt u uw toestel niet gebruiken. U kunt ook geen noodoproepen
uitvoeren.
De BlackBerry Device Software vanaf een website bijwerken
Als uw BlackBerry®-toestel is gekoppeld aan een BlackBerry® Enterprise Server kunt u deze taak mogelijk niet uitvoeren. Vraag uw beheerder
welke updates voor de BlackBerry® Device Software zijn toegestaan in uw organisatie.
1. Bezoek de website met updates van BlackBerry Device Software vanaf uw computer.
2. Klik op Controleren op updates.
3. Sluit uw BlackBerry-toestel aan op uw computer.
4. Selecteer het selectievakje naast de update die u wilt installeren op het scherm Samenvatting van update .
5. Voer een van de volgende acties uit:
• Klik op Opties om optionele toepassingen toe te voegen of te verwijderen. Schakel het selectievakje naast een of meer toepassingen
in of uit. Klik op Volgende.
• Klik op Instellingen om een back-up te maken van uw toestelgegevens of om alle toestelgegevens te verwijderen. Schakel het
selectievakje naast een of meer gegevenstypen in. Klik op OK.
6. Klik op Volgende.
7. Vul de gevraagde gegevens op het scherm in om u aan of af te melden voor e-mailberichten over nieuwe software.
8. Klik op Volgende.
9. Klik op Voltooien.
