PREPARING YOUR MOUSE
To prepare your Mouse, proceed as follows:
Disconnect the plug from the electricity supply.
Fit the appropriate abrasive or accessory to the base of
the tool and connect the dust extraction outlet to a
vacuum cleaner.
USING YOUR MOUSE WITH THE POINTED BASE
Your Mouse is equipped
with a teardrop base
which allows you to use
it on large flat surfaces,
as well as difficult and
confined areas.
FITTING THE ABRASIVE
Your Mouse uses pre-cut nylon backed sheets of
abrasive of a specific size.
To fit the abrasive proceed as follows:
Disconnect the plug from the electricity supply.
Press the nylon loop side
of the abrasive against
the hooks on the base.
Align the holes in the
abrasive (where fitted)
with the dust extraction
holes in the base of the
Mouse. Ensure the
abrasive evenly overlaps the base. Never use your
Mouse without an abrasive or accessory. The abrasive
supplied with your tool has two replacement tips
supplied. In addition, the abrasive is designed to allow
you to interchange and or rotate the diamond tip.
To rotate the diamond tip,
remove the tip, rotate it
through 180˚ and press it
back on the hook base as
shown. Note: Remove the
two replacement tips
from the abrasive before
using the Mouse, these
can be used later when the original diamond tip wears.
FITTING THE FINGER ATTACHMENT BASE (KA150K)
Disconnect the plug from
the electricity supply.
First remove the abrasive
and then remove the 2
small screws in the
Mouse base using the
screwdriver provided.
Looking from the bottom
of the Mouse rotate the
base in a clockwise
direction whilst holding
the Mouse in one hand
and the base in the other.
The base can be lifted off
and removed.
Take the finger
attachment base and
locate the three legs into
the location holes in the
Mouse. Turn the finger
attachment base anti
clockwise as shown to attach the base. The finger
should point directly from the front of the Mouse.
Replace the small screws into the base of the finger
attachment base. Note: The screws must be placed
back into the base for the unit to work properly.
DUST EXTRACTION
Your Mouse has an adaptor to connect it to a vacuum
cleaner when sanding wood.
To connect to the vacuum cleaner, proceed as follows:
Disconnect the plug from the electricity supply.
Insert the adaptor into
the rear outlet of the
Mouse and connect the
hose of a vacuum
cleaner.
OPERATING YOUR MOUSE
To switch your Mouse
on, press the on/off
switch on the side
marked “I”.
To switch your Mouse
off, press the on/off
switch on the side “0”.
Before plugging your
Mouse in to the electricity supply, make sure it is
switched off on your Mouse.
HANDY HINTS
Do not apply excessive pressure when you use
your Mouse.
Replace the abrasive when it is worn.
Use high grit abrasive for a fine finish.
