PLEASE READ AND SAVE THESE
IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety
precautions should always be taken including the
following:
1. Before connecting the heater, check that
the voltage indicated on the rating plate
corresponds to the main voltage in your
home/ofce.
2. WARNING: In order to avoid overheating,
do not cover the heater ( ).
3. DO NOT position the heater directly under a
power socket.
4. Do not use this heater in the immediate
surroundings of a bath, a shower or a
swimming pool.
5. If the supply cord or plug is damaged, it must
be replaced by the manufacturer or its service
agent or similarly qualied person in order to
avoid hazard. The heater contains no user
serviceable parts. Should the product suffer
damage or breakdown, it must be returned to
the manufacturer or their service agent.
6. Under the environment with electrical fast
transient, the product may malfunction and
require user to reset the product.
7. Do not use this heater with a programmer,
timer or any other device that switches the
heater on automatically, since a re risk
exists if the heater is covered or positioned
incorrectly.
8. Only touch the heater with dry hands.
9. DO NOT use this heater outdoors.
10. DO NOT position where it can be touched by
children, especially the very young.
11. Allow a safe area around the heater away
from furniture or other objects; at least 50
cm from the top and sides and 200 cm at the
front.
12. Do not use this heater when it is lying on its
side.
13. DO NOT use the heater in rooms with
explosive gas (e.g. petrol) or while using
inammable glue or solvent (e.g. when gluing
or varnishing parquet oors, PVC etc).
14. DO NOT insert any objects into the heater.
15. Keep the mains cord at a safe distance from
the main body of the heater. Turn off and
unplug heater when not in use and before
cleaning.
16. If overheating should occur, the built-in
overheating safety device will switch off the
heater.
17. Do not place the cord under a rug.
18. The heater cannot be used adjacent to
curtains or combustible material. Curtains or
combustible material may be burned if the
heater was installed incorrectly.
19. This appliance is not intended for use by
persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities,
or lack of experience and knowledge,
unless they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance
by a person responsible for their safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure that
they do not play with the appliance.
20. WARNING: Risk of Fire. Discontinue
use if the outlet or plug become hot to the
touch. Overheating may indicate a worn
or damaged outlet. Consult a qualied
electrician for outlet replacement.
21. CAUTION: In order to avoid a hazard due
to inadvertent resetting of the thermal cutout,
this appliance must not be supplied through
an external switching device, such as a timer,
or connected to a circuit that is regularly
switched on and off by the utility.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
Unpack your heater from the box, being careful
to remove all parts from plastic bags and
remaining packaging. Please save the carton for
off-season storage.
This heater is packed with 4 casters that are pre-
assembled on 2 separate foot plates in the box.
Follow the below instructions for Foot Plates
assembly:
Foot Plates Assembly
Step 1: Turn the heater upside down, locate
the 4 wing head screws packed inside
the box.
Step 2: Install the 2 foot plates onto the bottom
at both ends of the heater housing.
Line up holes of the foot plates with
holes on bottom of heater housing
at both ends, and secure with the 4
provided screws. (Refer to Fig.1)
Step 3: Turn the heater right side up on a
at level surface prior to beginning
operation. (Refer to Fig. 1)
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Place heater on a rm, level surface.
2. Make sure the Mode Control is at the
OFF(0) position. Plug heater into a standard
outlet. Once plugged in, the Power Light will
illuminate.
NOTE: Avoid overloading your circuit by not
using other high wattage appliances in the
same outlet. Wattage as follows:
1500W for BOF1500
2000W for BOF2000
3. To start operations, turn the Thermostat
Control clockwise to the highest setting.
4. Turn the Mode Control to the desired level of
heat (1-2-3).
5. To turn off the heater at any time, turn the
Mode Control to OFF (0) position.
- Thermostat Control
1. To start operations, turn the Thermostat
Control clockwise to the highest setting.
2. When the desired temperature or comfort
level is reached, turn the Thermostat Control
counter-clockwise to a lower position or until
the heater stop operating.
3. The heater will now automatically maintain
the preset temperature level by turning the
heater ON and OFF.
- Frost Guard Setting
Your heater is equipped with Frost Guard setting.
The heater will turn on automatically when the
room temperature drops below 4°C. To activate
Frost Guard, turn the Thermostat Control all the
way counter-clockwise to the lowest position. If
the room temperature drops below 4˚C, the
heater will automatically start working to maintain
its ambient temperature.
NOTE: It is normal for the heater to cycle on and
off to maintain the preset temperature. Raise the
thermostat setting to prevent the heater from
cycling.
CORD STORAGE
For easy storage, wrap cord around the Cord
Wrap position at the front of the heater.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Always unplug the heater before cleaning and
allow the heater to cool down.
1. Clean the unit with a soft cloth moistened
with a mild soap and water solution.
2. NEVER use abrasive or ammable solvents
to clean the unit.
3. After cleaning, be sure to completely dry the
unit with a cloth or towel.
4. Store heater in a cool, dry location.
5. It is recommended that you store the unit in
its original carton.
AUTO SAFETY SHUT-OFF
This heater is equipped with a technologically-
advanced safety system that requires the user to
reset the heater if there is a potential overheat
situation. When a potential overheat temperature
is reached, the system will automatically shut the
heater off. It can only resume operation when the
user resets the unit.
If the heater shuts down and the Power
Light is ashing:
1. Stand the heater upright, and turn the Mode
Control to Off (0).
2. Unplug the heater and allow 30 minutes for
the heater to cool down.
3. After 30 minutes plug the heater in and
operate normally.
4. If the heater does not work normally, repeat
steps 1, 2 and 3 again.
Tip Over Shut-Off:
When the unit is accidentally knocked over or
tilts on one side at more than a 45° angle, it will
instantly shut off. The unit may also shut off if it
is moved or bumped. To reset, simply place the
heater in an upright position, and it will operate
normally.
TROUBLE SHOOTING
General Information:
Environmental Factors - There are a number of
factors that will affect your desired comfort level.
These factors can include insulation, open or
drafty doors and windows, and outside
temperature. Please check and take action if any
of these potential problems are affecting your
heaters ability to adequately warm your room.
Supplemental Heat - Portable electric heaters
are intended for supplemental heating of the
room you are in and turn down the central heat
thermostat. They are not intended to replace
central heating systems.
DO NOT attempt to repair or adjust any
electrical or mechanical functions on this
heater. Doing so will void warranty. The
inside of the heater contains no user
serviceable parts. All servicing should be
performed by qualified personnel only.
If your heater fails to operate:
- UNPLUG the heater.
- Make sure the electrical outlet or circuit braker
is working.
- The thermostat temperature may be set too
low. Turn the Thermostat Control clockwise until
the heater restarts.
