USING THE TIMER (FOR BFH400 ONLY)
Your heater has been equipped with a timer.
When the timer is used, the heater will switch
itself off after a preset time (max. 180 minutes).
Turn the timer control clockwise and set the
number of minutes e.g. 20 = On for 20 minutes.
The pilot light goes on and the appliance switches
on at the preset temperature and setting. The
heater switches off and the pilot light goes out
as soon as the preset time has elapsed. e.g. if
you turn the dial clockwise to 20, the heater will
stay on for 20 minutes and then switch off.
To switch the timer off:
Slowly turn the timer control anti-clockwise and
select setting.
MOUNTING THE HEATER ON THE
WALL - (Fig. 3 - 4)
1. Use the bracket as a template to mark the
position of the holes to be drilled.
(NOTE: Ensure that the position you choose
is suitable for mounting the heater and that
the area for fixing is away from hidden
electrical cables or pipes.)
2. Drill the holes and fix the bracket to the wall
using wall plugs and screws.
3. Slide the heater correctly onto the bracket
until it "clicks" firmly into place and the heater
is safely held.
FROST GUARD
For BFH400 only
Turn the thermostat to the minimum (furthest
left position). The unit will automatically start
when the temperature drops below 5˚C.
For BFH410 only
Press the 'Mode' button 5 consecutive times
for Anti Frost setting (AF will show in the
digital display). This special setting is
automatically activated when the (AF) mode is
selected. In this mode, the heater is off until
the room's temperature reaches freezing and
the heater automatically turns on HI power.
The heater will cycle ON and OFF as it
maintains the temperature between 5˚C - 8˚C.
AUTO SAFETY SHUT OFF
This heater is equipped with a patented,
technologically advanced safety system that
requires the user to reset the heater if there is a
potential overheat situation. When a potential
overheat situation is reached, (e.g. if the heater
was accidentally covered) the system will
automatically switch the heater off. Operation
can only be resumed if the user resets the
heater as detailed below.
To reset the heater
1. Unplug the heater and allow 30 minutes for
the heater to cool down.
2. After 30 minutes plug the heater in and
operate normally.

• Clean the air inlet and outlet openings
regularly (with normal use at least twice a
year) with a vacuum cleaner.
STORAGE

extended period of time (i.e. during the summer
months), we recommend you to re-pack the unit
in its original packaging or any other dust-free
packaging and store it in a dry and cool place.
• The heater contains no user serviceable
