5. Puhdistus ja hoito

Vaara: Älä koskaan avaa vedenkeittimen

kotelon osia. Sisällä ei ole minkäänlaisia

hallintalaitteita. Jos kotelo avataan, sähköis-

ku voi aiheuttaa hengenvaaran.

Älä missään tapauksessa upota laitteen

osia veteen tai muihin nesteisiin! Jos lait-

teen sähköä johtaviin osiin joutuu nesteitä,

seurauksena on sähköiskun vaara ja laitteen

käyttäminen on hengenvaarallista.

Ennen kuin puhdistat vedenkeittimen

• vedä johto irti pistorasiasta ja anna

vedenkeittimen jäähtyä

• puhdista laitteen ulkopinta ja verkkojohto

hiukan kostutetulla puhdistusliinalla.

Kuivaa vedenkeitin aina hyvin, ennen

kuin käytät sitä uudelleen.

• älä käytä minkäänlaisia puhdistus-, han-

kaus- äläkä liuotinaineita. Ne voivat

vahingoittaa laitteen pintoja.

Jos koneeseen on saostunut kalkkia

• osta kaupasta elintarvikeastioille tai esi-

merkiksi kahvinkeittimille tarkoitettua kal-

kinpoistoainetta

• jaloteräksiset pinnat voidaan puhdistaa

teräsastioiden puhdistukseen tarkoitetul-

la puhdistusaineella.

Nokkasihdin irrottaminen ja asentaminen

• Nosta kansi.

ᕡ Paina ylhäältä käsin sihdin reunaa, jotta

sen voi irrottaa sisäänpäin.

• Laita sihti puhdistuksen jälkeen takaisin

paikoilleen ja paina se kunnolla kiinni.

6. Säilytys

Ennen kuin siirrät vedenkeittimen syrjään,

anna sen ensin jäähtyä kokonaan.

• Kääri verkkojohto laitteen pohjassa

olevan pidikkeen ympäri.

• Säilytä vedenkeitintä kuivassa paikassa.

Vihje: tyhjennä vedenkeitin kokonaan ennen

kuin laitat sen säilytykseen.

7. Käytöstä poistaminen

Säästä luontoa. Älä koskaan hävitä veden-

keitintä tavallisen talousjätteen kanssa.

Jos poistat laitteen kokonaan käytöstä,

vie se elektroniikan kierrätyskeskukseen.
