1. Introduzione

Lei ha appena acquistato una macchina da Caffè Espresso Bialetti!
La ringraziamo di avere scelto un nostro prodotto e condiamo che
questa scelta soddis a pieno le sue aspettative.
Il Sistema Espresso Bialetti è il risultato di anni di passione e di attenta
ricerca sul caffè e sui modi di prepararlo.
Sin dal 1933, con l’invenzione ed il lancio di Moka Express, l’omino
con i baf è, a tutti gli effetti, sinonimo di caffè e icona dell’autentico
espresso italiano.
La sua macchina funziona esclusivamente con le capsule Bialetti ori-
ginali: totalmente in alluminio riciclabile, perfettamente dosate, che
sono state da noi studiate per garantirle anche a casa un caffè come
quello del bar.

• L’apparecchio è stato progettato solo per uso interno e per tempe-
rature non estreme; non lasciare esposto l’apparecchio ad agenti

• In caso di uso commerciale, movimentazione o uso impropri,
eventuali danni derivanti dall’uso per altri scopi, cattivo funziona-
mento, riparazione non professionale o inosservanza delle istruzioni,
il produttore declina qualsiasi responsabilità ed è autorizzato a non
applicare i termini di garanzia.
• Dopo aver tolto l’imballaggio e prima di ogni uso, assicurarsi dell’inte-
grità meccanica dell’apparecchio e di tutti i suoi accessori. La guaina e
la spina del cavo di alimentazione non devono evidenziare screpola-
ture o rotture. Nel caso si verichi quanto sopra, staccare subito la
spina dalla presa di corrente e portare l’apparecchio presso un centro
di assistenza tecnica autorizzato per le necessarie veriche.

• Gli elementi dell’imballaggio (sacchetti in plastica, polistirolo espan-
so, chiodi, ecc.) non devono essere lasciati alla portata dei bambini
in quanto potenziali fonti di pericolo.
• Posizionare l’apparecchio su una supercie piana, regolare e stabile.
Non posizionarlo accanto a/su ripiani roventi, come caloriferi, piani
cottura, forni, cucine a gas, amme libere, etc.
• Prima di collegare l’apparecchio accertarsi che i dati targa siano
rispondenti a quelli della rete di distribuzione elettrica. La targa è
situata sul fondo del corpo dell’apparecchio.
• In caso di incompatibilità tra la presa e la spina dell’apparecchio fare
sostituire la presa con altra di tipo adatto da personale profes-
sionalmente qualicato. Quest’ultimo, in particolare, dovrà anche
accertare che la sezione dei cavi della presa sia idonea alla potenza
assorbita dall’apparecchio. In generale è sconsigliabile l’uso di adat-
tatori, prese multiple e/o prolunghe. Qualora il loro uso si rendesse
indispensabile, è necessario utilizzare solamente adattatori semplici
o multipli e prolunghe conformi alle vigenti norme di sicurezza,
facendo però attenzione a non superare il limite di portata, in valore
di corrente, marcato sull’adattatore semplice e sulle prolunghe, e
quello di massima potenza marcato sull’adattatore multiplo.
• Non lasciare l’apparecchio inutilmente inserito. Staccare la spina
dalla rete di alimentazione quando l’apparecchio non è utilizzato.
• Se si intende lasciare inattivo l’apparecchio per un periodo di tempo
piuttosto lungo, svuotare il serbatoio dell’acqua.
• Non mettere l’apparecchio in un mobile durante il funzionamento.
SI CONSIGLIA DI ALIMENTARE L’APPARECCHIO TRAMI-
TE UN INTERRUTTORE DIFFERENZIALE (RDC) CON COR-
RENTE D’INTERVENTO NON SUPERIORE A 30mA.
COLLEGARE L’APPARECCHIO ALL’IMPIANTO ELETTRICO
ESCLUSIVAMENTE CON UNA SPINA DI MESSA A TERRA.
EVITARE DI SCOLLEGARE L’APPARECCHIO TIRANDO IL
CAVO DI ALIMENTAZIONE.

DURANTE IL FUNZIONAMENTO, LA PRESA DI CORRENTE
DEVE ESSERE FACILMENTE ACCESSIBILE NEL CASO IN
CUI FOSSE NECESSARIO SCOLLEGARE L’APPARECCHIO.
PRECAUZIONI
• Non toccare l’apparecchio con mani bagnate o umide.
• Non usare l’apparecchio a piedi nudi.
• Non tirare il cavo di alimentazione o l’apparecchio stesso per stac-
care la spina dalla presa di corrente.
• Non accostare il cavo a bordi taglienti, non ssarlo o lasciarlo
pendere.
• Per evitare surriscaldamenti pericolosi, si raccomanda di svolgere
per tutta la sua lunghezza il cavo di alimentazione e di utilizzare
l’apparecchio come consigliato nel paragrafo “Avvertenze” relative
all’uso corretto dell’apparecchio.
• Non ostruire le aperture o le fessure di ventilazione o di smalti-
mento calore.
• Prima di effettuare qualsiasi operazione di pulizia o di manuten-
zione, scollegare l’apparecchio dalla rete di alimentazione elettrica
staccando la spina o spegnendo l’interruttore dell’impianto.
• In caso di guasto e/o di cattivo funzionamento dell’apparecchio,
spegnerlo e non manometterlo. Per l’eventuale riparazione rivol-
gersi solamente ad un centro di assistenza tecnica autorizzato
dal costruttore, richiedendo l’utilizzo di parti e ricambi originali. Il
mancato rispetto di quanto sopra può compromettere la sicurezza
dell’apparecchio.

2. Avvertenze
• Allorché si decida di non utilizzare più un apparecchio di questo
tipo, è consigliabile di renderlo inoperante tagliandone il cavo di
alimentazione dopo aver staccato la spina dalla presa di corrente.
Si raccomanda, inoltre, di rendere innocue quelle parti dell’ap-
parecchio suscettibili di costituire un pericolo, specialmente per
i bambini che potrebbero servirsi dell’apparecchio fuori uso per i
propri giochi.
L’INSTALLAZIONE DEVE ESSERE EFFETTUATA SECONDO
LE ISTRUZIONI DEL COSTRUTTORE. UNA ERRATA IN-
STALLAZIONE PUÒ CAUSARE DANNI A PERSONE, ANI-
MALI O COSE, NEI CONFRONTI DEI QUALI IL COSTRUT-
TORE NON PUÒ ESSERE CONSIDERATO RESPONSABILE.
• Non lasciare incustodito l’apparecchio durante il funzionamento.
NON UTILIZZARE L’APPARECCHIO SENZA ACQUA NEL
SERBATOIO.
• Non spostare l’apparecchio quando è in funzione.
A SEGUITO DELL’INSTALLAZIONE INIZIALE, L’APPA-
RECCHIO POTREBBE EMANARE ODORE DI BRUCIATO A
CAUSA DEI MATERIALI ISOLANTI E DEGLI ELEMENTI
RISCALDANTI; IL TUTTO È NORMALE.
• Assicurarsi che l’apparecchio non sia collegato prima di procedere
con la pulizia.
• Non utilizzare detergenti abrasivi o solventi.
• Non usare oggetti aflati.
• Non lavare in lavastoviglie alcun componente dell’apparecchio,
compreso il cassetto raccogli capsule e la griglia removibile.
• Pulire l’apparecchio con un panno sofce umido e asciugare.

Tenendo la leva (1) abbassata, posizionare una tazzina sull’apposita
griglia (5) e premere il pulsante (8) per avviare l’erogazione di acqua.
Interrompere l’erogazione premendo nuovamente il pulsante quando la
tazzina è quasi piena. Ripetere il ciclo per almeno 3 volte.
5. Primo utilizzo
dell’apparecchio

A macchina scollegata, estrarre
il serbatoio (4) e riempirlo di
acqua potabile, senza superare il
livello MAX.
Inserire la spina (9) dell’appa-
recchio nella presa, seguendo le
indicazioni riportate nella sezione
‘Avvertenze’.
NON UTILIZZARE MAI L’APPARECCHIO
SENZA ACQUA NEL SERBATOIO.

Accendere la macchina tramite
l’interruttore (2) nella parte poste-
riore superiore.
Durante il riscaldamento della
caldaia, la spia sul pulsante (8) ri-
mane accesa in ROSSO. Quando la
spia diventa VERDE, la macchina è
pronta per l’erogazione di caffè.

6. Preparazione del caffè

Prima di procedere con l’erogazio-
ne, controllare il livello di acqua
nel serbatoio (4) e accertarsi che
il pulsante (8) sia verde, quindi
sollevare la leva (1).
Inserire la capsula nell’apposito
alloggiamento (3) e chiudere la
leva (1) prestando attenzione per
evitare lo schiacciamento delle
mani.
SE LA CAPSULA È DEFORMATA, SISTE-
MARE I BORDI.
NON INSERIRE LE DITA FRA I MECCA-
NISMI, NÉ NELL’ALLOGGIAMENTO DEL-
LA CAPSULA.
Posizionare una tazza sulla griglia
(5).
Iniziare l’erogazione del caffè, pre-
mendo l’apposito pulsante (8).
Quando il caffè raggiunge il livello
desiderato nella tazzina, arrestare
l’erogazione premendo nuovamente
il pulsante di erogazione. Per ogni
caffè successivo, sollevare la leva
(1) per inserire una nuova capsula.
Sollevando la leva, il sistema
espellerà in automatico la capsula
usata in precedenza.

7. Manutenzione
PULIZIA DELL’APPARECCHIO
PRIMA DI EFFETTUARE L’OPERAZIONE DI PULIZIA, DISIN-
SERIRE SEMPRE LA SPINA DALLA PRESA DI CORRENTE.
NON IMMERGERE MAI IL CORPO DELL’APPARECCHIO IN
ACQUA O ALTRI LIQUIDI E NON LAVARE IN LAVASTO-
VIGLIE.
• Per la pulizia del corpo apparecchio, usare un panno umido evi-
tando l’impiego di detersivi abrasivi.
• E’ preferibile risciacquare ogni giorno il serbatoio. Non lasciare
acqua nel serbatoio per più di 5 giorni o, se questo dovesse acca-
dere, cambiare l’acqua ed erogarne 50 ml senza capsula prima di
preparare il caffè.
Il contenitore delle capsule usate
(7) è estraibile; rimuoverlo perio-
dicamente e svuotare quando è
pieno.
Il contenitore può contenere sino
a 6-8 capsule usate prima di dover
essere svuotato. È consigliabile
controllare il livello delle capsule
all’interno del contenitore tramite
l’apposita parte in plastica (7).
Non azionare la macchina con la
griglia piena per evitare di dan-
neggiarla.
Fare attenzione durante lo svuo-
tamento del contenitore delle cap-
sule, in quanto potrebbero esserci
residui di acqua e/o caffè.
Lavare la vaschetta (6) e la
relativa griglia (5) con acqua e
detersivo per piatti.
Non lavare tali componenti in
lavastoviglie.

7. Manutenzione
PROCEDURA DI DECALCIFICAZIONE
Il normale utilizzo della macchina con acque naturali minerali in bottiglia
o da rubinetto comporta la formazione di calcare.
Si consiglia di eseguire la decalcicazione ogni 300 tazzine di caffè (in
alternativa ogni 3-4 mesi) e/o quando si osserva una riduzione costante
della portata nel usso di caffè erogato.
LA FREQUENZA DI QUESTA OPERAZIONE DIPENDE DAL
GRADO DI DUREZZA DELL’ACQUA UTILIZZATA.
A) Versare una dose di soluzione decalcicante Bialetti o equivalente
(purché non tossica e adatta per macchine da caffè) nel serbatoio
acqua (4).
NON UTILIZZARE ACETO O SOLUZIONI A
BASE D’ACETO COME DECALCIFICANTE.
B) Riempire con acqua fredda il serbatoio no al raggiungimento della
tacca MAX.
C) Premere il pulsante (2) per accendere la macchina. Attendere che
rimanga acceso sso in verde.
D) Accertarsi che non vi siano capsule nella macchina. Se necessario,
aprire e chiudere la leva (1).
E) Erogare 2 tazze (circa 100 ml ciascuna) di acqua.
F) Spegnere la macchina.
G) Lasciare agire il decalcicante per circa 15-20 minuti con la macchina
spenta.
H) Accendere la macchina ed eseguire nuovamente le operazioni
descritte al punto E).
I) Lasciare spenta la macchina per circa 5 minuti.
J) Ripetere le operazioni di cui al punto E) no al completo esaurimento
dell’acqua nel serbatoio.
K) Estrarre il serbatoio e risciacquarlo abbondantemente con acqua
fredda pulita.
L) Riempire il serbatoio con acqua pulita no al livello “MAX” e inserirlo
nell’apposita sede.
M) Avviare l’erogazione di acqua sino al completo svuotamento del
serbatoio.
N) Ripetere le operazioni descritte nei punti L) e M).

8. Modalità di
risparmio energetico
Questo apparecchio è stato progettato in conformità alle direttive europee
EC1275 /2008 e 2009/125/EC relative ai requisiti della modalità di
risparmio energetico.
Questo apparecchio integra una funzione di stand-by che si attiva dopo
9 minuti di inattività; l’apparecchio si spegne e il consumo energetico in
tale stato è inferiore a 0,5 W.
Per riattivare la macchina è necessario premere nuovamente l’interruttore
generale (2) posto sul retro del pannello destro del prodotto; la macchina
avvierà la fase di pre-riscaldamento della caldaia (led rosso) e, una
volta raggiunta la temperatura operativa, indicherà lo stato di pronto
(led verde).
IL TEMPO DI PRE-RISCALDAMENTO DIPENDE DAL TEMPO IN CUI
L’APPARECCHIO È RIMASTO INATTIVO E PUÒ DURARE FINO A 50 SECONDI
IN CASO DI MANCATO UTILIZZO DELLO STESSO PER ALCUNE ORE.
LA MACCHINA ENTRA IN STAND-BY AUTOMATICAMENTE DOPO 9 MINUTI
ANCHE NEL CASO IN CUI NON VENGA EROGATO ALCUN CAFFE’.

10. Consigli per un buon caffè
• Prima di fare il primo caffè, eroga sempre un po’ d’acqua a vuoto,
questo assicura che il tuo caffè sia erogato al meglio: l’acqua non
disperde calore all’interno della macchina ed il uidi incontrano
minor resistenza.
• Per un caffè a temperatura perfetta, in assenza di uno scaldataz-
ze, riscaldare la tazzina erogando solo acqua.
• Per una crema più spessa e persistente: usa tazzine con una base
interna ovoidale.

11. Capsule Bialetti
Le nuove capsule brevettate Bialetti sono uniche nel mercato perché
garantiscono in un unico prodotto tutti i requisiti necessari per un

12. Garanzia
L’apparecchio è garantito per un periodo di due anni dalla data di consegna,
fa fede la data riportata sullo scontrino/fattura, a meno che l’acquirente non
provi che la consegna sia avvenuta successivamente. In caso di difetto del
prodotto preesistente alla data di consegna, Bialetti garantisce la riparazione
o la sostituzione senza spese dell’apparecchio, salvo che uno dei due rimedi
risulti sproporzionato rispetto all’altro. L’acquirente è tenuto a denunciare al
venditore qualsiasi difetto di conformità entro due mesi dalla scoperta dello
stesso.
Non sono coperte da garanzia tutte le parti che dovessero risultare difettose

• Before connecting the appliance, make sure the line voltage is cor-
rect. The tag is located on the bottom of the body of the appliance.
• If the plug does not t into the wall outlet, replace the wall outlet with
another type by a qualied electrician, who must also check that the

it is not advisable to use an adaptor, multiple socket or an extension

plate (5) and press the button (8) to start dispensing water. Stop
dispensing by pressing the button again when the cup is almost full.

7. Maintenance
APPLIANCE CLEANING
ALWAYS UNPLUG THE APPLIANCE BEFORE CLEANING IT.
NEVER IMMERSE THE APPLIANCE BODY IN WATER OR
OTHER LIQUIDS AND DO NOT PUT IT IN THE DISH-
WASHER.
• To clean the appliance body, use a wet cloth but avoid abrasive
detergents.
• It is recommended to rinse the tank on a daily base. Never leave
water in the tank for more than 5 days or, if it occurs, change
water and dispense 50ml of water without capsule before making
the coffee.
The exhaust capsule compartment
(7) is removable; take it out regu-
larly and empty it when full.
The compartment can hold up
to 6-8 used capsules before it
needs emptying. We recommend
checking the level of the capsules
inside the compartment through

7. Maintenance
DESCALING PROCEDURE
The normal use of the machine with natural mineral water, both in bottle
and from the tap, entails the formation of limestone.
It is recommended to carry out the descaling cycle every 300 cups of
coffee (otherwise every 3-4 months) and/or when a constant decrease
of the dispensed coffee ow is noticed.
THE FREQUENCY OF THIS OPERATION DEPENDS ON THE
HARDNESS OF WATER USED.
A) Pour a dose of Bialetti descaling solution or equivalent (provided it is
not toxic and is suitable for coffee machines) into the water tank (4).
DO NOT USE VINEGAR OR VINEGAR-
BASED SOLUTIONS AS DESCALING
AGENT.
B) Fill the tank with cold water up to the MAX level.
C) Press the button (2) to switch the machine on. Wait until it remains
steady green.
D) Be sure to use the machine without capsule inside: if needed, open
and close the lever (1).
E) Dispense 2 cups of water (aprox.ly 100 ml each).
F) Switch the machine off.
G) Let the descaling agent act for aprox.ly 15-20 minutes with the
machine off.
H) Switch the machine on and carry out again the operations described
in point E).
I) Switch the machine off against for approx.ly 5 minutes.
J) Repeat the operation described in points E) until the tank is
completely empty.
K) Remove the tank and rinse it thoroughly with clean cold water.
L) Fill the tank with clean water up to the “MAX” level and insert it in
its seat.
M) Dispense water until the tank is completely empty.
N) Repeat the steps described in points L) and M).

8. Energy saving mode
This device has been designed in accordance with European directives
EC1275 /2008 and 2009/125/EC providing requirements for energy-
saving mode.
This device integrates a stand-by function which is enabled after 9 minutes
of inactivity: the machine is turned off and the power consumption in
this state is less than 0.5W.
To restart the machine it is necessary to press the power switch (2)
located on the back of the right panel of the product: the machine will
start the pre-heating of the boiler (red LED) and once it reaches operating
temperature, it will indicate the ready state (green LED).
TIME OF PRE-HEATING IS BASED ON THE INACTIVITY TIME OF THE
MACHINE AND THE AMBIENT TEMPERATURE, AND CAN LAST UP TO 50
SECONDS IF THE PRODUCT HAS NOT BEEN USED FOR A FEW HOURS.
THE MACHINE WILL ENTER STAND-BY MODE AUTOMATICALLY AFTER 9
MINUTES EVEN IF NOT BREWED ANY COFFEE.

10. Tips for a good coffee
• Before making coffee for the rst time, dispense some water only
in order to ensure the perfect dispensing; water does not waste
heat inside the appliance and uids encounter less resistance.
• For a coffee at the optimal temperature, in case a cup-warmer is
not available, warm the cup up with water only.
• In order to obtain a thicker and more persistent cream, use cups
with an inner ovoid-shape base.

12. Warranty
The appliance is guaranteed for two years from the date of delivery,
as shown by the date on the receipt/ invoice, unless the purchaser can
prove that delivery took place on a later date. In case of defects on the
product existing prior to delivery, Bialetti guarantees the repair or re-
placement of same, at no charge to the purchaser, unless one of the two
remedies is disproportionate to the other. The purchaser is responsible
for reporting any conformity defects no later than two months from
discovery of same.
The warranty does not cover those parts found to be faulty as a result of
negligence or careless use, for example:
• Damages caused by impacts, falls or scratches owing to the use
of improper objects.
• Damages caused by limestone or failure to decalcify it on a regu-
lar basis.
• Failure to abide by the operating instructions for the appliance.
• Incorrect installation or maintenance carried out by unauthorized
persons.
• Normal wear and tear.
• Damage caused by modications made to the inside of the appli-
ance.
• Damage caused through use of a voltage other than that stated in
the use and maintenance manual.
• Damage from transport or circumstances that cannot be attribut-
ed to defects in the material or workmanship of the appliance.
• Damages arising from repairing carried out by unauthorized
service centers.
The warranty also excludes all cases of improper use of the appliance or
any instances of professional use. Bialetti refuses to accept any liability
for damage that may directly or indirectly be caused to people, property
or pets as a result of failure to abide by all of the guidelines and instruc-
tions in this booklet concerning the installation, use and maintenance
of the appliance.
This warranty is without prejudice to contractual guarantees made to
the retailer.

13. Appliance disposal
• This product complies with the Directive 2012/19/EC.
• The symbol representing the crossed out trash can on the appli-
ance indicates that the product, at the end of its useful life, must
be treated separately from domestic waste. It must be taken to a
recycling center for electrical and electronic appliances or turned in
to the point of sale when purchasing a new, equivalent, appliance.
• The user is responsible for taking the appliance to the recycling
centre at the end of its life, under penalty of the sanctions foreseen
by the current legislation on waste handling.
• Correct consignment of the no-longer used appliance to a recycling
centre for treatment and environmentally compatible elimination

• Après avoir enlevé l’emballage et avant l’utilisation de cet appareil,
assurez-vous de son intégrité mécanique et de tous ses accessoires.
La gaine et la che du câble d’alimentation ne doivent pas présenter
de ruptures ou ssures. Si c’est le cas, débrancher immédiatement la
che de la prise de courant et porter l’appareil dans un centre d’assis-
tance agréé pour effectuer les vérications nécessaires.
• Les éléments d’emballage (sachet plastique, polystyrène expansé,
agrafe etc…) ne doivent pas être laissés à la portée des enfants an
d’éviter tout danger.
• Positionner l’appareil sur une surface plane, régulière et stable. Ne
positionnez pas l'appareil près ou sur des plans réchauffés comme
les radiateurs, les plaques de cuisson, les fours, les gazinières, les
ammes ou similaires.
• Avant de brancher l’appareil, s’assurer que les données indiquées sur
la plaque signalétique correspondent à celles du réseau d’alimentation
électrique. La plaque est apposée sur le fond du corps de l’appareil.
• En cas d’incompatibilité entre la prise de votre appareil et celle de la
prise secteur, faire substituer la prise par une prise adaptée, par un
professionnel qualié. Ce dernier en particulier, devra vérier que la
section des câbles de la prise est conforme à la puissance absorbée par
l’appareil. En général, l’emploi d’adaptateurs, de prises multiples et/
ou de rallonges est déconseillé. Si toutefois leur emploi était indis-
pensable, il est nécessaire de n’utiliser que des adaptateurs simples
ou multiples et des rallonges conformes aux normes de sécurité en
vigueur, en veillant cependant à ce que la limite de résistance en valeur
de courant, indiquée sur l’adaptateur simple et sur les rallonges, ainsi
que la limite de puissance maximale indiquée sur l’adaptateur multiple,

reil, éteindre et ne pas le mal traiter. Pour l’éventuelle réparation
contacter uniquement un centre d’assistance technique habilité par
le constructeur pour commander les pièces de rechanges origi-
nales. La non observation de cette recommandation peut compro-
mettre la sécurité de l’appareil.
• Dès lors que vous décidez de ne plus utiliser un appareil de ce
type et de vous en séparer, nous vous recommandons de le rendre
inopérant en coupant la prise après l’avoir débranché de la prise
secteur. Aussi, est-il recommandé de rendre inutilisables toutes

En gardant la levier (1) abaissée, placer une tasse sur la grille dédiée
(5) et appuyer sur le bouton (8) pour démarrer la distribution d’eau.
Interrompre la distribution en appuyant à nouveau sur le bouton quand
la tasse est presque pleine. Répéter ce cycle au moins 3 fois.

tion, contrôler le niveau d’eau
dans le réservoir (4) et s’assurer
que le bouton (8) soit vert, puis
soulever le levier (1).
Insérer la capsule dans le loge-
ment prévu (3) et fermer le levier
(1) en faisant attention pour éviter
le risque d’écrasement des doigts.
SI LA CAPSULE EST DÉFORMÉE, RE-
DRESSER LES BORDS.
NE PAS INTRODUIRE LES MAINS ENTRE
LES ENGRENAGES, NI DANS LE LOGE-
MENT DE LA CAPSULE.
Placer une tasse sur la grille (5).
Lancer la distribution du café, en
appuyant sur la touche adéquat (8).
Lorsque la café atteint le niveau
désiré dans la tasse, arrêter la dis-
tribution en appuyant de nouveau
sur la touche de distribution.
Pour tous les autres cafés distri-
bués, soulever le levier (1) pour
introduire une nouvelle capsule.
En soulevant la levier, le système

NETTOYAGE DE L'APPAREIL
AVANT D’EFFECTUER LES OPÉRATIONS DE NETTOYAGE, TOU-
JOURS DÉBRANCHER LA FICHE DE LA PRISE DE COURANT.
LE CORPS DE L’APPAREIL NE DOIT JAMAIS ÊTRE PLONGÉ
DANS DE L’EAU OU D’AUTRES LIQUIDES ET IL NE DOIT
PAS ÊTRE LAVÉ AU LAVE-VAISSELLE.
• Pour nettoyer le corps de l’appareil, utiliser un chiffon humide en
évitant l’emploi de produits abrasifs.
• Il est préférable de rincer le réservoir tous les jours. Ne laissez
pas d’eau dans le réservoir pendant plus de 5 jours ou, si cela
devait se vérier, remplacez l’eau et effectuez une distribution de
50 ml sans capsule avant de verser un café.
Le récipient des capsules usées (7)
est amovible ; enlevez-le périodi-
quement an de pouvoir l’extraire
pour le vider quand il est plein.
La récipient peut contenir jusqu’à
6-8 capsules usées avant d’être
vidé. Il est conseillé de contrôler
le niveau des capsules à l’intérieur
du récipient grâce à la partie en
plastique (7) prévue à cet effet.
Ne pas actionner la machine quand
la grille est pleine pour éviter de
l’endommager.
Faire attention quand on vide le réci-
pient des capsules : il peut contenir
des résidus d’eau et/ou de café.
Laver le bac (6) et la grille (5) avec
de l’eau et du liquide vaisselle.
Ne lavez pas les composants au
lave-vaisselle.

7. Entretien
PROCÉDURE DE DECALCIFICATION
L’utilisation normale de la machine avec des eaux minérales en bouteille
ou du robinet comporte la formation de calcaire.
Il est conseillé d’effectuer la décalcication tous les 300 tasses de café
(en alternative tous les 3-4 mois) et/ou lorsqu’on observe une réduction
constante du débit de café distribué.
LA FRÉQUENCE DE CETTE OPÉRATION DÉPEND DU DEGRÉ
DE DURETÉ DE L’EAU UTILISÉE.
A) Versez dans le réservoir à eau (4) une dose de solution décalciante
Bialetti ou équivalente (non toxique et indiquée pour les machines
à café).
N’UTILISEZ PAS DE VINAIGRE OU DE
SOLUTIONS À BASE DU VINAIGRE
COMME DECALCIFIANT.
B) Remplissez le réservoir avec de l’eau froide jusqu’au niveau MAX
indiqué sur le réservoir.
C) Appuyez sur le poussoir (2) pour allumer la machine. Attendre qu’il
s’allume de façon xe en vert.
D) S’assurer qu’il n’y ait aucune capsule dans la machine. Si nécessaire,
ouvrir et fermer le levier (1).

8. Modalité
d'économie d'énergie
Cet appareil a été conçu conformément aux directives EC1275/2008 et
2009/125/EC qui prévoient la nécessité d'adopter la modalité d'économie
d'énergie.
Cet appareil intègre une fonction de stand-by qui se met en marche au
bout de 9 minutes d’inactivité : l'appareil s’éteint et la consommation
d’énergie dans cet état est inférieure à 0,5 W.
Pour faire repartir la machine, il est nécessaire d’appuyer de nouveau sur
l’interrupteur général (2) placé au dos du panneau droit de l'appareil : la
machine démarre alors la phase de pré-réchauffement de la chaudière
(voyant rouge) et, une fois la température de service atteinte, elle indique
l’état de machine prête (voyant vert).

10. Conseils pour un bon café
• Avant de faire le premier café, distribuez toujours un peu d’eau à
vide, cela garantit un bien meilleur résultat: l’eau ne disperse pas
sa chaleur à l’intérieur de la machine et les uides rencontrent
moins de résistance.
• Pour obtenir un café à une température parfaite, si vous ne
possédez pas de chauffe-tasses, réchauffez la tasse avec l’eau
distribuée à vide.
• Pour obtenir une crème plus épaisse et plus persistante : utilisez
une tasse avec une base interne ovoïdale.

12. Garantie
L'appareil est garanti pour une période du ticket/facture faisant foi, à
moins que l'acheteur ne prouve que la livraison est successive à cette
date. En cas de vice du produit préexistant à la date de livraison, Bialetti
garantit la réparation ou la substitution de l’appareil sans aucun frais,
à moins que l’une des deux solutions résulte disproportionnée par rap-

• Prüfen Sie sofort nach dem Auspacken und vor jedem Gebrauch,
ob das Gerät und alle seine Zubehörteile unbeschädigt sind. Der
Kabelmantel und der Stecker dürfen keine Risse oder Bruchstellen
aufweisen. Sollte das hingegen der Fall sein, dann ziehen Sie den
Stecker sofort aus der Steckdose und bringen Sie das Gerät zu
einem autorisierten Kundendienst.
• Alle Verpackungsteile (wie Plastikbeutel, Styropor, Nägel usw.).
müssen außerhalb der Reichweite von Kindern aufbewahrt werden,
weil sie eine mögliche Gefahrenquelle darstellen.
• Das Gerät auf einer ebenen, gleichmäßigen und stabilen Fläche

REINIGUNG DES GERÄTS
BEVOR DIE REINIGUNG VORGENOMMEN WIRD, IMMER
DEN STECKER AUS DER STECKDOSE ZIEHEN.
DAS GEHÄUSE DES GERÄTS KEINESFALLS INS WASSER
ODER SONSTIGE FLÜSSIGKEITEN TAUCHEN UND NICHT
IN DER SPÜLMASCHINE WASCHEN.
• Zur Reinigung des Gehäuses ein feuchtes Tuch verwenden und
den Einsatz von Scheuermitteln vermeiden.
• Der Tank sollte jeden Tag ausgespült werden. Kein Wasser länger
als 5 Tage im Tank lassen oder falls dies geschieht, das Wasser
auswechseln und vor der Ausgabe von Kaffee eine Ausgabe von
50 ml ohne Kapsel vornehmen.
Der Behälter mit den gebrauchten
Kapseln (7) ist kann heraus ge-
nommen werden; entnehmen und
entleeren Sie diesen regelmäßig.
Der Behälter kann bis zu 6-8 Kap-
seln enthalten, bevor er geleert
werden muss. Es wird empfohlen,
den Füllstand der Kapseln im
Behälter über das spezielle Kunst-
stoffteil (7) zu überprüfen.
Betreiben Sie die Maschine nicht
mit vollem Behälter, da dies die
Maschine beschädigen könnte.
Seien Sie vorsichtig beim Ent-
leeren des Kapselbehälters, da
Wasser- und/oder Kaffeereste
vorhanden sein könnten.

7. Wartung
ENTKALKEN DER MASCHINE
Der normale Gebrauch der Maschine mit Mineralwasser aus der Flasche
oder aus der Wasserleitung bewirkt die Bildung von Kalk.
Es wird empfohlen, jeweils nach 300 Kaffeezubereitungen (alternativ
alle 3-4 Monate) eine Entkalkung durchzuführen und/oder sobald eine
konstante Verringerung des ausgegebenen Kaffeeusses festgestellt wird.
DIE HÄUFIGKEIT DIESES VORGANGS HÄNGT VOM
HÄRTEGRAD DES VERWENDETEN WASSERS AB.
A) Eine Dosis Bialetti-Entkalkungslösung oder ein gleichwertiges
Produkt (ungiftig und für Kaffeemaschinen geeignet) in den
Wassertank (4) geben.
KEINEN ESSIG ODER ESSIGLÖSUNGEN
ALS ENTKALKER VERWENDEN.
B) Den Tank bis zum maximalen Füllstand mit kaltem Wasser füllen.
C) Die Maschine anhand der Taste (2) einschalten. Warten Sie, bis
diese Grün leuchtet.
D) Stellen Sie sicher, dass sich keine Kapseln in der Maschine benden.
Gegebenenfalls den Hebel (1) öffnen und schließen.
E) Ausgabe von 2 Tassen (jeweils ca. 100 ml) Wasser durchführen.
F) Das Gerät abschalten.
G) Entkalkungsmittel ca. 15-20 Minuten bei ausgeschalteter Maschine
einwirken lassen.
H) Maschine einschalten und erneut die unter Punkt E) beschriebenen
Vorgänge wiederholen.
I) Maschine erneut ca. 5 Minuten lang ausschalten.
J) Die unter Punkt E) genannten Vorgänge bis zum vollständigen
Verbrauch des Wassers im Tank wiederholen.
K) Tank entnehmen und gründlich mit kaltem sauberem Wasser
ausspülen.
L) Tank mit sauberem Wasser bis zum Füllstand „MAX“ auffüllen und
in die entsprechende Aufnahmestelle einsetzen.
M) Starten Sie die Wasserausgabe, bis der Tank vollständig entleert ist.
N) Die vorher in den Punkten L) und M) beschriebenen Arbeitsgänge
wiederholen.

8. Energiesparbetrieb
Dieses Gerät wurden in Konformität mit den Richtlinien EG 1275/2008 und
2009/125/EG entwickelt, welche die Anwendung einer Energiesparfunktion
vorschreiben.
Dieses Gerät verfügt über eine Standby-Funktion, die nach 9
Minuten Inaktivität aktiviert wird; das Gerät schaltet sich ab und der
Stromverbrauch liegt in diesem Zustand unter 0,5 W.
Um die Maschine wieder zu aktivieren, drücken Sie den Hauptschalter
(2) auf der Rückseite der rechten Seite des Produkts; die Maschine
startet die Vorheizphase des Kessels (rote LED) und zeigt, sobald die
Betriebstemperatur erreicht ist, den Bereitschaftszustand an (grüne LED).
DIE AUFWÄRMZEIT IST DAVON ABHÄNGIG, WIE LANGE DAS GERÄT
NICHT BENUTZT WURDE. WENN SIE MEHRERE STUNDEN LANG NICHT
BENUTZT WURDE, KANN DIE WARTEZEIT BIS ZU 50 SEKUNDEN
BETRAGEN.

Kaffee

Flüssigkeiten sind weniger sind weniger Widerständen ausgesetzt.
• Für eine perfekte Kaffeetemperatur, erwärmen Sie die Tasse nur
mit warmem Wasser, wenn Sie nicht über einen Tassenwärmer
verfügen.
• Für eine anhaltende und cremigere Beschaffenheit: Tasse mit
eiförmigem Boden verwenden.

12. Garantie
Das Gerät hat eine Garantie von zwei Jahren ab Lieferdatum. Ausschlag-
gebend ist das Datum des Kassenzettels bzw. der Rechnung, es sei denn
dass der Käufer eine spätere Lieferung nachweisen kann. Im Fall von
Mängeln des Produkts, die im Moment des Kaufs bereits vorhanden wa-
ren, gewährleistet Bialetti die kostenlose Reparatur bzw. den Austausch
des Geräts, falls eine der beiden Lösungen übermäßige Kosten mit sich
bringt. Der Käufer ist gehalten, Konformitätsmängel beim Verkäufer in-
nerhalb von zwei Monaten ab Feststellung des Mangels zu melden.
Von der Garantie ausgeschlossen sind alle Teile, deren Schaden auf
Nachlässigkeit oder unsachgemäße Verwendung zurückzuführen ist, wie

• El aparato se ha diseñado sólo para uso interno y no para soportar
temperaturas extremas; no dejar expuesto el aparato a los agentes

posibles daños derivados del uso para otros nes, mal funcionamiento,
reparación no profesional o incumplimiento de las instrucciones, el fabri-
cante declina cualquier responsabilidad y está autorizado a no aplicar los
términos de garantía.
• Luego de haber quitado el embalaje y antes de cada uso controle la
integridad mecánica del aparato y de todos sus accesorios. La vaina y
el enchufe del cable de alimentación no tienen que presentar suras o
roturas. En el caso que presentaran daños, desconectar inmediatamente
el enchufe de la toma de corriente y llevar el aparato a un centro de
asistencia técnica autorizado para las comprobaciones necesarias.
• Los materiales del embalaje (bolsas de plástico, poliestireno expandido,
clavos, etc.) no deben dejarse al alcance de los niños ya que constituyen
potencial fuente de peligro.

• Colocar el aparato sobre una supercie plana, regular y estable. No
coloque el aparato junto o sobre supercies calientes, como radiadores,
placas de cocción, hornos, cocinas de gas, llamas, etc.
• Antes de conectar el aparato controlar que los datos indicados en la cha
técnica concuerden con los de la red de distribución eléctrica. La placa se
encuentra en el fondo del cuerpo motor.
• En caso de incompatibilidad entre la toma y el enchufe del aparato, susti-
tuir la toma con otra de tipo adecuado por personal calicado profesional-
mente. Éste último, en especial, deberá también constatar que la sección
de los cables de la toma es idónea para la potencia absorbida por el
aparato. Procure no utilizar adaptadores, enchufes múltiples o extensio-
nes. En el caso de que su uso fuera indispensable, utilice sólo adaptadores
simples o múltiples y prolongadores conformes con las normas vigentes
de seguridad, prestando atención a no superar el límite de capacidad en
valor de corriente, marcado en el adaptador simple y en los prolongadores
y aquél de máxima potencia marcado en el adaptador múltiple.
• No deje el aparato enchufado inútilmente. Desconectarlo cuando
deje de utilizarse.
• Si tiene intención de dejar inactivo el aparato durante un periodo de
tiempo más bien largo, vacíe el depósito del agua.
• No coloque el aparato en un armario durante el funcionamiento.

EVITAR DESCONECTAR EL APARATO TIRANDO DEL CA-
BLE DE ALIMENTACIÓN.
DURANTE EL FUNCIONAMIENTO, LA TOMA DE CORRIEN-
TE TIENE QUE SER FÁCILMENTE ACCESIBLE EN EL CASO
EN QUE FUERA NECESARIO DESCONECTAR EL APARATO.
PRECAUCIONES
• No tocar el aparato con las manos mojadas o húmedas.
• No use el aparato con los pies descalzos.
• No tire del cable de alimentación o del aparato mismo, para desco-
nectar el enchufe de la toma de corriente.
• No acerque el cable a bordes cortantes, no lo bloquee ni lo deje
colgando.
• Para evitar recalentamientos peligrosos, se recomienda desenrollar
todo el cable de alimentación y usar el aparato como se indica en
el apartado “Advertencias” relativo al uso correcto del aparato.
• No obstruya las bocas o rendijas de ventilación o de eliminación de
calor.
• Antes de efectuar cualquier operación de limpieza o de manteni-
miento, desenchufe el aparato de la red de alimentación eléctrica,
o desconecte el enchufe o apague el interruptor de la instalación.
• En caso de desperfecto y/o mal funcionamiento del aparato,
apagar-lo y no manipularlo. Para efectuar eventuales reparacio-
nes dirigirse a un centro de asistencia técnica autorizado por el
fabricante y solicitar el uso de piezas y repuestos originales. El
incumplimiento de lo anteriormente expuesto pone en peligro la
seguridad del dispositivo.

mienda inutilizarlo cortando el cable de alimentación luego de
haber desconectado el enchufe de la toma de corriente. También
se recomienda neutralizar aquellas partes del aparato que pueden

diente rejilla (5) y pulse el botón (8) para iniciar el suministro de agua.

7. Mantenimiento
LIMPIEZA DEL APARATO
ANTES DE EFECTUAR LA OPERACIÓN DE LIMPIEZA, DESCO-
NECTAR SIEMPRE EL ENCHUFE DE LA TOMA DE CORRIENTE.
NUNCA SUMERJA EL CUERPO DEL APARATO EN EL AGUA O
EN OTROS LÍQUIDOS NI LAVAR EN EL LAVAVAJILLAS.
• Para la limpieza del cuerpo del aparato, usar un trapo húmedo
evitando emplear detergentes abrasivos.
• Es preferible aclarar cada día el depósito. No deje agua en el
depósito durante más de 5 días o, si esto sucediera, sustituya el
agua y realice una dispensación de 50 ml sin cápsula antes de
dispensar el café.
El contenedor de las cápsulas
usadas (7) es extraíble; sacarlo
periódicamente y vaciarlo cuando
esté lleno.
El contenedor puede contener
hasta 6-8 cápsulas usadas antes
de ser vaciado. Se recomienda
controlar el nivel de las cápsulas
dentro del contenedor a través de
la pertinente parte de plástico (7).

7. Mantenimiento
PROCEDURA DE DESCALCIFICACIÓN
El uso normal de la máquina con aguas naturales minerales ya sea en
botella que del grifo conlleva la formación de cal.
Se aconseja realizar la descalcicación cada 300 tacitas de café (como
alternativa cada 3-4 meses) y/o cuando se observa una reducción
constante del caudal en el ujo del café dispensado.
LA FRECUENCIA DE ESTA OPERACIÓN DEPENDE DEL GRADO
DE DUREZA DEL AGUA USADA.
A) Introduzca en el depósito del agua (4) una dosis de solución
descalcicadora Bialetti o equivalente (que no sea tóxica y que sea
adecuada para máquinas de café).
NO UTILICE VINAGRE O SOLUCIONES
A BASE DE VINAGRE PARA DESCALCI-
FICAR.
B) Llene con agua fría el depósito hasta llegar a la marca “MAX”.
C) Apretar el pulsador (2) para encender la máquina. Esperar a que
permanezca jo (verde).
D) Cerciórese de que no haya cápsulas en la máquina. Si es necesario,
abra y cierre la palanca (1).
E) Dispense 2 tazas (aproximadamente 100 ml cada una) de agua.
F) Apague la máquina.
G) Deje que actúe el descalcificador durante 15-20 minutos
aproximadamente con la máquina apagada.
H) Encienda la máquina y realice de nuevo las operaciones descritas
en el punto E).
I) Apague de nuevo la máquina durante 5 minutos.
J) Repita las operaciones en el punto E) hasta que se agote
completamente el agua en el depósito.
K) Extraiga el depósito y aclárelo abundantemente con agua fría limpia.
L) Llene el depósito con agua limpia hasta el nivel “MAX” y acóplelo
en su lugar.
M) Inicie el suministro de agua hasta que el depósito se vacíe del todo.
N) Repita las operaciones descritas en los puntos L) y M).

8. Modalidad
de ahorro energético
Este aparato se ha diseñado de conformidad con las directivas europeas
EC1275/2008 y 2009/125/EC que prevén la necesidad de adoptar la
modalidad de ahorro energético.
Este aparato integra un circuito de ahorro energético que entra en
función tras 9 minutos de inactividad: la máquina se apaga y el consumo
energético en este estado es inferior a 0,5W.
Para reactivar la máquina es necesario pulsar nuevamente el interruptor
general (2) ubicado en la parte trasera del panel derecho del producto:
la máquina iniciará la fase de pre-calentamiento de la caldera (led rojo)
y, una vez alcanzada la temperatura operativa, indicará el estado de
listo (led verde).
EL TIEMPO DE PRECALENTAMIENTO DEPENDE DEL TIEMPO EN EL QUE
LA MÁQUINA HA PERMANECIDO INACTIVA, Y PUEDE DURAR HASTA 50
SEGUNDOS SI NO HA SIDO UTILIZADA DURANTE VARIAS HORAS.
LA MÁQUINA TAMBIÉN ENTRA EN MODALIDAD STAND-BY
AUTOMÁTICAMENTE TRAS 9 MINUTOS SI NO SE HA DISPENSADO

10. Consejos para un buen café
• Antes de hacer el primer café, dispense un poco de agua en vacío,
esto asegura que su café se dispense lo mejor posible: el agua no
suelta calor dentro de la máquina y los uidos encuentran menor
resistencia.
• Para un café a la perfecta temperatura, si no hay calienta-tazas,
caliente la taza con agua dispensada en vacío.
• Para una crema más densa y persistente: use tazas con una base
interna oval.

12. Garantia
El aparato tiene una garantía de dos años a partir de la fecha de entrega. Da
validez la fecha indicada en el ticket / factura, a no ser que el comprador no
demuestre que la entrega se ha producido sucesivamente. En caso de defec-
to del producto ya existente antes de la fecha de entrega, Bialetti garantiza
la reparación o la sustitución del aparato sin gastos por parte del cliente, a
menos que uno de los remedios resulte desproporcionado respecto al otro.
Compete al comprador comunicar el defecto de conformidad al vendedor en
el plazo de dos meses desde que se ha detectado dicho defecto.
La garantía no cubre aquellas partes que resultaran defectuosas a causa de
negligencia o distracción en el uso, por ejemplo:
• Daños causados por golpes, caídas o arañazos debidos al uso de
utensilios inapropiados.
• Averías causadas por la cal o por una descalcicación irregular.
• Incumplimiento de las instrucciones para el funcionamiento del aparato.
• Mala instalación, mantenimiento efectuado por personas no
autorizadas.
• Desgaste normal.
• Daños causados por modicaciones aportadas internamente.
• Daños causados por un voltaje diferente de aquel indicado en el
manual de uso y mantenimiento.
• Daños por el transporte o circunstancias que no puedan asociarse a
defectos de fabricación del aparato.
• Daños causados por intervenciones efectuadas por centros de asis-
tencia sin cualica.
La garantía queda excluida en todos los casos de uso inadecuado del apa-
rato y en caso de uso profesional. Bialetti no se responsabiliza por eventua-
les daños que puedan directamente o indirectamente derivar a personas,
cosas y animales domésticos como consecuencia del incumplimiento de
todas las prescripciones indicadas en este manual de instrucciones en tema
de instalación, uso y mantenimiento del aparato.
Todo ello sin perjuicio de las reclamaciones de garantía contractuales con-
tra el vendedor.
LA EMPRESA FABRICANTE SE RESERVA EL DERECHO DE APORTAR A

13. Eliminación del aparato
• Este producto cumple con la Directiva 2012/19/CE.
• El símbolo del basurero tachado presente en el aparato indica que el
producto, al nal de su vida útil, debiendo ser tratado por separado
de los desechos domésticos, debe ser entregado a un centro de re-
colección diferencial para aparatos eléctricos y electrónicos o devol-
verlo al revendedor cuando compre un nuevo aparato equivalente.
• El usuario es responsable de entregar el aparato al nal de su vida
útil a las estructuras apropiadas de recolección, bajo pena de aplica-
ción de las sanciones previstas por la legislación vigente en materia
de desechos.
• La recolección diferencial adecuada para el posterior reciclaje, trata-
miento, eliminación ambientalmente compatible del aparato contri-
buye a evitar posibles efectos negativos en el ambiente y en la salud
y favorece el reciclaje de los materiales que componen el producto.
• Para informaciones más detalladas inherentes a los sistemas de re-
colección disponibles, dirigirse al servicio local de eliminación de
desechos o a la tienda en la cual ha comprado el producto.
• Los productores y los importadores cumplen con su responsabilidad
