PULSE MEASUREMENT

Your pulse rateismeasured by placing both

hands on pulse sensors (R) with which the

electronic unitis equipped. The pulse rate

readout will appear after a few seconds. The

heart symbol beside the pulse rate value will

flash in time with your heart rate, Figure 4.

IMPORTANT. THIS IS NOT A MEDICAL

APPLIANCE AND THEREFORE THE HEART

RATE SHOWN IS MERELY FOR GUIDELINE

PURPOSES.

BODY FAT PERCENTAGE %

By pressing the (MODE) key when the machine

is (REA- DY), the LED for MANUAL will start to

flash, use the (+ –) keys to select the (BODY

FAT). Next, press the ENTER key to confirm it,

the (AGE) display will start to flash, select the

value and press (ENTER), now the (HEIGHT)

display will start to flash, specify the value and

press the (ENTER), key to confirm, the (MALE-

1 or FEMALE - 0) display will start to flash,

select the value and press (ENTER), the

(WEIGHT) display will start to flash, select the

value and press (ENTER).

The monitor is pre programmed with certain

values and ranges that you can also use, see

the following table:

Once you have providedthe monitor with the

necessary data, place both hands on the

sensors, Figure 4. After approximately one

minute your Body Fat reference point will be

shown on the program lights, see Body Fat

table.
