 • Thehousingofthelampgetswarmduringoperation.Touchingitmayresultinburns!Alwaysletthelamp

 • Connecttheunitonlytothemainsvoltagelistedonthetypeplate.

 • Keepchildrenawayfrompackagingmaterials(riskofsuffocation).

 • Donotcoveruporpackawaytheunitwhileitiswarm.

 • Alwaysremovethemainsplugandlettheunitcooloffbeforeyoutouchit.

 • Donottouchtheunitwithwethandswhileitispluggedin;donotallowanywatertobesprayedontothe

unit. The unit must be operated only when it is completely dry.

 •Keepthemainscableawayfromhotobjectsandnakedflames.

 • Protecttheunitfromstrongimpacts.

 • Donotpullthemainsplugfromthesocketbythecord.

 • Ifthecordorthehousingisdamaged,contactcustomerserviceorthedealer,sincespecialtoolsarenee-

ded to make repairs.

 •Disconnectionfromthemainssupplyisonlyguaranteedifthemainsplughasbeenremovedfromtheso-

cket.

 •Thefluorescenttubeinthedevicecontainsasmallamountofmercury.Ifafluorescenttubebreaks

in your home, part of the mercury escapes in the form of mercury vapour. To ensure the least

possible contact with the mercury vapour released in this case, open the windows and air the room

for 5-10 minutes.

 •Donotusethedeviceinthepresenceofflammableanaestheticgasconnectionswithair,oxygen

or nitrogen oxide.

 •Nocalibrationandnopreventativechecksormaintenanceistobecarriedoutonthisdevice.

 •Youcannotrepairthedevice.Thedevicecontainsnopartsthatyoucanrepair.

 •Donotmakeanychangestothedevicewithoutthemanufacturer’spermission.

 •Ifthedevicehasbeenchanged,thoroughtestsandchecksmustbecarriedouttoensurethe

continued safety of further use of the device.
