no funcionara ahora, retire usted la pila completa y vuelva a colocarla. Su báscula está provista de
una “indicación de cambio de pila”. Si la báscula se usa con una pila demasiado débil, en la pantalla
se visualizará “Lo”, y la báscula se desconectará automáticamente. En este caso debe reemplazarse
la pila (4 x 1,5 V, AAA (LR03), micro). Las pilas normales y las pilas recargables agotadas y comple-
tamente descargadas deben ser eliminadas en los depósitos especialmente marcados para este
efecto, en los puntos de recepción de basura especial o bien en las tiendas de artículos eléctricos.
Conforme a la ley, usted está obligado a eliminar las pilas en una de las formas anteriormente des-
critas.
Nota: Los siguientes símbolos se encuentran en las pilas que contienen substancias
tóxicas: Pb = esta pila contiene plomo, Cd = esta pila contiene cadmio,
Hg = esta pila contiene mercurio.
Coloque usted la báscula sobre una superficie plana y firme; esta es una condición
imprescindible para que la medición sea correcta.
3.2 Medir solamente el peso
Coloque la balanza sobre un suelo firme y plano (no una alfombra);
el recubrimiento firme del suelo es una condición necesaria para una medición correcta.
¡Toque la balanza breve, fuerte y audiblemente con el pie, para activar el sensor de vibracio-
nes! En la pantalla se visualiza “0.0” (fig. 1).
Ahora queda la báscula lista para la medición de su peso. Suba ahora a la
báscula. Permanezca quieto sobre la báscula distribuyendo su peso homo-
géneamente sobre ambas piernas. La báscula inicia inmediatamente la medi-
ción. Poco después se indica el resultado de la medición (fig. 2). La báscula
se apaga por sí misma 10 segundos después de que usted se baje de ella.
Durante este lapso permanece visible el resultado de la medición.
Nota: Observe usted que en primer lugar siempre debe conectar la báscula y
esperar que la pantalla visualice “0.0” (fig. 1) antes de subirse a aquella.
