3.1 Pilhas
Caso existente, puxe a fita de isolamento existente na tampa do
compartimento de pilhas ou remova a película protectora da pilha
e introduza esta respeitando a polaridade correcta. Se a balança
não mostrar qualquer função, retire a pilha completamente e volte
a colocá-la. A sua balança está equipada com uma “Indicação de
troca de pilha”. Se a balança for usada com uma pilha demasiado fraca, aparece a indicação “Lo”,
e a balança desliga automaticamente. Nesse caso, há necessidade de substituir a pilha (4 x1,5 V,
AAA, Mikro). As baterias e pilhas gastas, totalmente descarregadas, devem ser eliminadas através
dos recipientes de recolha devidamente identificados ou nos locais de recolha de lixo especial ou,
ainda, entregando-as numa loja de electrodomésticos. Existe uma obrigação legal de
dar um tratamento ecológico às pilhas.
Nota: Este símbolo encontra-se nas pilhas que contêm materiais tóxicos:
Pb = a pilha contém chumbo, Cd = a pilha contém cádmio, Hg = a pilha contém
mercúrio.
3.2 Verificar apenas o peso
Coloque a balança sobre um fundo plano e firme (não colocar em cima
de carpete); um pavimento firme é uma das condições necessárias para
uma pesagem correcta. Para activar o sensor de impactos, pise com um
pé breve e fortemente na superfície da balança, até ouvir um clique bem
perceptível!
Como autoteste, todos os conteúdos aparecem no mostrador (fig. 1), até sur-
gir “0.0” (fig. 2).
A balança está então pronta para a verificação do seu peso. Suba para a ba-
lança. Não se mexa e distribua o peso uniformemente sobre as duas pernas.
A balança começa imediatamente a pesagem. Depois de piscar 2 vezes, o
mostrador indica o resultado definitivo da pesagem (fig. 3). A balança desliga
passado aproximadamente 10 segundos depois de sair do piso dela. Durante
esse tempo, o resultado medido permanece visível.
Tenha cuidado em ligar sempre primeiro a balança e aguardar até que o
mostrador indique “0.0” (fig. 2), antes de subir para a balança.
Se a balança detectar um erro durante a pesagem, o mostrador indica “
ErrE
”
(fig. 4).
