Connecting the connection

cable and positioning the

shoulder cu

1. Connect the connection cable to

the metallic connection clips on

the shoulder cu.

Note

Before positioning the shoulder cu, ﬁrst clean the body

parts to be treated.

Before positioning the shoulder cu, ﬁrst

moisten the water contact electrodes and the

shoulder with water.

Note

The shoulder cu can be used for both the left and right

shoulder. Important: When putting the belt on, it must al

ways ﬁrst go round your back so that you can tighten the

belt at the front.

2. To ﬁt the cu more easily, ﬁrst of all ﬁx the bottom end

of the cu using the hook-and-loop fastener provid

ed, and slip your arm through the opening in the cu.

Then use your healthy arm to pull the cu over your

painful shoulder. You can tighten the hook-and-loop

fastener later once you have closed the belt.

3. Now use your healthy arm to grab the belt behind your

back, pull it to the front, and through the buckle pro

vided on the shoulder cu. After this you can ﬁx the

end of the belt directly to the belt itself using the hook-

and-loop fastener.

4. If required, you can now ﬁx the hook-and-loop fasten

er on your upper arm more ﬁrmly.

5. Fix the cu in the desired po

sition using the hook-and-loop

fasteners. Ensure that the cu is

not too tight but that the water

contact electrodes still have suf-

ﬁcient contact with the skin.

6. Insert the plug for the connec-

tion cable into the connector

socket [5] on the control unit.
