pilha contém chumbo, Cd = a pilha contém cádmio, Hg = a pilha contém mercurio.
2.2 Pesar
O peso é mostrado em incrementos de 5 g a partir de um peso mínimo de 50 g.
Prima a tecla “
” para ligar a balança.
Assim que aparecer “0,000 kg” no visor, a balança está pronta para a medição.
Coloque o bebé na superfície de pesagem. Proceda com muito cuidado, não deixe cair o bebé e
preste atenção à sua cabeça.
Esta balança de bebé dispõe de uma função de paragem “HOLD” (AUTO HOLD e MECHANICAL HOLD).
A função AUTO HOLD fixa o peso do bebé assim que ele ficar suficientemente sossegado para manter
um valor medido preciso. Se o bebé se mexer muito, não é possível pesá-lo. Tente acalmar o bebé
para conseguir uma medição rápida. Contudo, não toque no bebé para não influenciar a pesagem.
Assim que se fixe o peso do bebé, a indicação “HOLD” começa a piscar e o peso é visualizado durante
20 segundos. A seguir, a balança desliga-se automaticamente.
Se o bebé estiver muito irrequieto, pode seleccionar a função MECHANICAL HOLD premindo a tecla
“HOLD”. Num espaço de 3 segundos, a indicação “HOLD” começa a piscar e o peso é visualizado
durante 20 segundos.
Quando não quer colocar o bebé directamente na plataforma, mas, por exemplo, em cima de uma
toalha, terá que colocar a toalha ANTES de ligar a balança. Se a toalha e os outros objectos que
pretende deduzir do peso pesarem mais de 50 g, poderá usar também a função TARA. Depois de
premida a tecla de TARA, visualiza-se a tare no visor. Para repor a balança em 0,000 g, prima o botão
TARA, logo que “HOLD” deixe de piscar.
No momento da entrega, a balança vai ajustada para funcionar com a unidade “kg”. Através da tecla
“kg/lb/oz” poderá em qualquer altura as unidades entre quilogramas “kg”, libras “lb” e onças “oz”.
2.3 Eliminação
Elimine o equipamento de acordo com o Regulamento do Conselho relativo a resíduos de equi-
pamentos eléctricos e electrónicos – WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment). No caso
de perguntas, dirija-se à autoridade municipal competente em matéria de eliminação de resíduos.
