SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS - General
• Please read these instructions carefully and retain them for reference.
• Use this appliance solely in accordance with these instructions.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical,sensory or
mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
• Have any repairs carried out solely by a qualified electrician. Never try to repair the appliance yourself.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS - During use
• Never submerge the appliance in water or another liquid.
• We accept no liability for damage caused by incorrect usage or the ignoring of the regulations in this
manual.
OPERATION - General
This appliance is intended only for
domestic use, not for professional use.
1. Weigh platform
2. ON/OFF and TARE button
3. UNIT button
4. Time button
5. LCD display
6. Battery
OPERATION - Before use for the first time
• Remove the packaging.
• Clean all the accessories to remove any residue that may be left from the manufacturing process (see
“Cleaning and maintenance”). Dry them thoroughly.
OPERATION - Placing the battery
1. Open the battery compartment at the bottom of the appliance.
2. Connect a 2xAAA, 3V battery and insert it in the compartment..
3. Close the lid.
OPERATION - Setting the time
To set the time press the TIME button 5 to 10 seconds. Then you can set the time by pressing the Unit
button and the On / Tare button. First you can set the minutes and after you pressed the TIME button again
you can set the hours. Again press the TIME button to save the set time.
OPERATION - Use
2. Push the ‘ON/TARE’ button. Wait untill all the information is shown on the display.
3. The kitchen scale is now ready for use.
4. Place the product that you want to weigh in the bowl until the desired value is reached.
5. Switch off the appliance by pushing the ‘ON/TARE’ button again.
• When the display is not resetting itself after switching on, you may want to push the ‘TARE’ button.
The appliance will now reset itself and is ready for use.
• When the kitchen scale is not being used for 120 seconds, it will automatically switch off.
