FUNCIONAMIENTO - Preparación del café
1. Abra la tapa del depósito de agua (1). Vierta una buena cantidad de agua en el depósito (no menos de
2 ni más de 12 tazas).
2. Abra la tapa del filtro (4).
La cafetera incluye un filtro permanente (Ver
imagen 2). No es necesario usar un filtro de
papel. Sin embargo, si aun así desea usar
filtros de papel, puede colocar un filtro de papel
(1x4) en lugar del filtro permanente.
3. Llene el filtro con la cantidad deseada de café
molido (usualmente 1 cuchara medidora por
taza).
4. Cierre la tapa del filtro.
5. Coloque la jarra de vidrio (6) encima del plato
para mantener caliente el café (8).
6. Presione el botón de encendido/apagado (9)
para encender el dispositivo. La luz roja de
‘calentando’ se encenderá (15). El café se está
preparando.
• La función de ‘pausar y servir’ le permite verter una taza de café antes de que la cafetera termine
de preparar el café. Coloque la jarra rápidamente, para evitar que el filtro se rebose.
• ¡La tapa estará caliente cuando la cafetera esté encendida! Tenga cuidado al abrir la tapa durante
el uso. El vapor caliente puede causar quemaduras.
FUNCIONAMIENTO - Programar la cafetera para más tarde
Cuando el reloj de la cafetera está ajustado a la hora correcta, podrá programar el dispositivo para preparar
café a una hora más tarde.
1. Presione el botón de ajustes (11). En la pantalla (14) aparecerá la palabra “SET”.
2. Presione el botón de la hora (12) para ingresar la hora correcta. Cada vez que presione el botón la
hora cambiará una hora a la vez. También puede mantener el botón oprimido para ajustar la hora más
rápidamente.
3. Presione el botón de los minutos (13) para ingresar los minutos correctos. Cada vez que presione el
botón los minutos cambiará un minuto a la vez. También puede mantener el botón oprimido para ajustar
los minutos más rápidamente.
4. La hora ingresada parpadeará en la pantalla. Tras unos segundos, dejará de parpadear y la hora
correcta se mostrará en la pantalla.
5. Presione el botón de auto (10). La luz verde indicadora del ‘cronómetro’ (16) se encenderá.
El cronómetro ha sido programado. A la hora ingresada, la cafetera comenzará a preparar el café. La luz roja
indicadora de “calentando” (15) se encenderá.
Nota: si la alimentación de energía del dispositivo es interrumpida, la programación se perderá y tendrá
que ingresar la hora nuevamente.
LIMPIEZA Y MANTENIMIENTO
1. Asegúrese de que el aparato está apagado.
2. Retire el enchufe de la fuente de alimentación y deje enfriar el aparato, si es necesario.
3. Retire el portafiltro y límpielo bajo un chorro de agua.
4. Limpie la jarra en agua jabonosa caliente o en el lavavajillas.
5. Limpie la parte exterior del aparato con un paño húmedo y detergente líquido. Asegúrese de que la
humedad no entra al interior del aparato.
