REINIGING EN ONDERHOUD
1. Zorg dat het apparaat uit staat (aan-/uitschakelaar in de stand ‘O’: indicatielampje uit).
2. Neem de stekker uit het stopcontact en laat het apparaat zonodig afkoelen.
3. Gooi de eventueel gebruikte papieren koffiefilter weg. Neem de permanent filter uit de behuizing en
reinig hem onder stromend water. Ontgrendel de filterhouder door het handvat naar boven te trekken
(zie afbeelding 2). Neem de filterhouder uit de behuizing en reinig hem ook onder stromend water.
Plaats de filterhouder terug in de behuizing en duw het handvat naar beneden tot deze vergrendelt. Let
bij het terugplaatsen op de druppelstop: deze moet door de uitsparing in de filterbehuizing steken.

4. Reinig de glaskan met warm water met afwasmiddel of in de vaatwasmachine.
5. Reinig het apparaat aan de buitenkant met een vochtige doek. Zorg ervoor dat er geen vocht binnenin
het apparaat komt.
• Dompel het apparaat, de stekker en het snoer nooit onder in water. Zet het apparaat nooit in een
afwasmachine. Alleen de losse onderdelen mogen worden ondergedompeld in water.
• Gebruik geen agressieve of schurende schoonmaakmiddelen of scherpe voorwerpen (zoals
messen of harde borstels) bij het reinigen.
REINIGING EN ONDERHOUD - Ontkalken
Kalkaanslag kan ervoor zorgen dat de prestaties van het apparaat verminderen. In gebieden met hard
water komt kalkaanslag vaak voor. Wij raden u aan een geschikt ontkalkingsmiddel te gebruiken als er
kalkaanslag ontstaat. Volg altijd de instructies bij het ontkalkingsmiddel op. De vorming van kalkaanslag
wordt minder als u een waterzuiveringstoestel gebruikt.
MILIEU
• Werp verpakkingsmateriaal zoals plastic en dozen in de daarvoor bestemde containers.
• Dit product aan het eind van de gebruiksduur niet inleveren als normaal huishoudelijk afval, maar
bij een inzamelpunt voor hergebruik van elektrische en elektronische apparatuur. Let op het
symbool op het product, de gebruiksaanwijzing of de verpakking.
• De materialen kunnen hergebruikt worden zoals aangegeven. Door uw hulp bij hergebruik, de
verwerking van de materialen of ander vormen van de benutting van oude apparatuur levert u een
belangrijke bijdrage aan de bescherming van ons milieu.
• Informeer bij de gemeente naar het juiste inzamelpunt bij u in de buurt.
