Steek de geleider in de naaivoethouder
zoals hiernaast getoond en stel de gewenste
afstand in.

Naai de eerste naad en verplaats de stof
voor de volgende naden. Met de geleider nu
de vorige naad volgen.

Naai op een afstand van ong. 2 cm langs
de rand van de stof.
Voor een beter resultaat raden we aan
verstevigingsspray te gebruiken en de
stof te persen voordat u met naaien
begint.
Knip de stof af langs de schelpzoom.
Knip niet in de steken.

Het aan elkaar naaien van een boven- en onderstof met in het midden een laag volumevlies
wordt "quilten" genoemd. De bovenlaag bestaat vaak uit vele geometrische delen die aan
elkaar werden genaaid.
Deze golvende steek wordt "schelpzoom" genoemd. Deze steek wordt gebruikt voor kragen
aan blouses of als decoratieve randafwerking van naaiprojecten.
Let op:
Bij het gebruik van de quiltvoet mogen alleen
steken met naaldstand midden worden
ingesteld, anders is het mogelijk dat de
machine wordt beschadigd.
