Sewing in the thread chain - seam end
• Sew to the end of the seam.
• Raise the needles.
• Raise the presser foot.
• Remove work carefully towards the back.
• Turn work over and towards you and lay it under the presser foot so that
the needle enters the fabric with the Þ rst stitch.
• Lower the presser foot.
• Sew carefully over the previous stitching without cutting for about 2-3 cm
(1").
• Raise the tip of the foot and turn work away from you.
• Stitch off the edge.
Sobrecoser la cadena de hilo al Þ nal de la costura
• Terminar la costura y sobrepasar el borde de un punto.
• Subir las agujas.
• Subir el prensatelas.
• Tirar con cuidado la labor hacia atrás.
• Girar la labor y colocarla nuevamente debajo del pie prensatelas de
manera que al primer punto se claven las agujas en ella.
• Bajar el prensatelas.
• Coser unos 3cm sobre la costura cosida anteriormente teniendo cuidado
de no cortar ni el borde de la tela ni los enlaces de los puntos.
• Levantar la punta del pie prensatelas y girar la labor hacia atrás.
• Coser saliendo fuera del borde.

• Naht bis 1 Stich über die Stoffkante nähen.
• Nadeln hochstellen.
• Nähfuss hochstellen.
• Nähgut vorsichtig nach hinten wegziehen.
• Nähgut wenden und erneut unter den Nähfuss legen, so dass die Nadeln
beim ersten Stich in den Stoff einstechen.
• Nähfuss senken.
• Ca. 3cm über die bestehende Naht nähen ohne Stoffkante und
Fadenschlingen zu zerschneiden.
• Nähfussspitze anheben und Nähgut nach hinten drehen.
• Von der Stoffkante wegnähen.

Achever la couture en dépassant le bord du tissu d’un point.
• Relever les aiguilles.
• Relever le pied-de-biche.
• Retirer avec précaution l’ouvrage par l’arrière.
• Retourner l’ouvrage, le replacer sous le pied-de-biche de manière à ce que
les aiguilles pénètrent dans le tissu dès le premier point.
Abaisser le pied-de-biche.
• Piquer env. 3cm par-dessus l’emplacement déjà cousu sans couper le
bord du tissu, ni les boucles de Þ l.
• Relever la pointe du pied-de-biche et amener l’ouvrage à l’arrière en
tournant.
• Piquer en s’éloignant du bord du tissu.
Securing thread chains
Leave a 12 cm / 5" chain at the beginning and end of the seam so that it
can be knotted or pulled through the Þ rst/last few stitches with a darning
needle.
