Sewing in the thread chain - seam begin
• Sew to form a 3-4 cm (2") chain.
• Position fabric and sew one stitch.
• Insert needles (Needles down).
• Raise the presser foot.
• Pull the thread chain gently and from the left place it under the presser foot
(in the tape guide if wanted).
• Lower presser foot.
• Start sewing, sewing over the thread chain.
After approx. 2 cm/1", guide the thread chain towards the knife to cut off
the excess.

• Formar una cadena de hilo de 3-4 cm.
• Colocar la labor y coser un punto.
• Clavar las agujas (agujas abajo).
• Subir el prensatelas.
• Tirar ligeramente de la cadena de hilo y pasarla por la parte izquierda,
debajo del pie prensatelas (eventualmente en la guía-cinta).
• Bajar el prensatelas.
• Continuar cosiendo y al mismo tiempo sobrecoser la cadena de hilo.
• Después de unos 2 cm, cortar la cadena de hilo con la cuchilla.

• Eine 3-4cm lange Fadenkette bilden.
• Nähgut einführen und einen Stich nähen.
• Nadeln einstechen (Nadeln unten).
• Nähfuss hochstellen.
• Die Fadenkette leicht straff ziehen und von links unter den Nähfuss
(ev. in die Bandführung) legen.
• Nähfuss senken.
• Weiternähen, dabei die Fadenkette übernähen.
• Die Fadenkette nach ca. 2cm in die Messer führen und abschneiden.

• Former une chaînette de Þ l de 3-4cm de long.
• Introduire l’ouvrage et exécuter un point.
• Planter les aiguilles (aiguilles en bas).
• Relever le pied-de-biche.
• Tendre légèrement la chaînette de Þ l puis en partant de la gauche
l’amener sous le pied-de-biche (év. la placer dans le guide pour rubans).
Abaisser le pied-de-biche.
• Continuer la couture en surpiquant la chaînette de Þ l.
Amener la chaînette de Þ l sous le couteau (dépasser d’env. 2cm) puis
couper.
