4.4.1 Automatic rapid heat-up function
All four cooking zones are equipped with automatic heat-up
boiling. When activated, the selected cooking zone heats at
maximum power for a certain time and then switches to the
desired power level.
Button Function
☞Choose the desired cooking zone.
☞Press and hold the desired power level on
the slider for 3 seconds.
yThis indicator and the selected power level
blink alternatingly.
yAfter the end of the rapid heat-up time,
the cooking level switches to the desired
power level.
yWith selection of a lower power level, the
automatic rapid heat-up is switched off.
4.4.2 Pause function
Function for interruption of a cooking process with saved
settings. Access takes place after pressing the menu button;
the corresponding symbol is displayed.
Button Function
☞Press the slider at the position below the
symbol.
yThe cooking process is interrupted.
yThe adjusted values are saved and
reactivated when pressed again.
4.4.3 Recall function
Function for restoring the settings used most recently.
The following values are saved for 6 seconds after switching
off the device:
yCooking zone power levels.
yCooking zone timer settings.
yAutomatic rapid heat-up settings.
yOperating mode und power level for extraction.
Button Function
The symbol blinks for 6 seconds.
☞Press the slider at the appropriate position
before the symbol stops blinking.
yThe adjusted values are reactivated.
4.4.4 Cleaning function
In order to prevent undesired use of the device during
cleaning, the control panel can be locked temporarily.
Access takes place after pressing the menu button;
the corresponding symbol is displayed.
This function is useful for cleaning residues off the hob
during cooking.
Button Function
☞Press the slider at the position below the
symbol.
yThe control panel is locked for 20 seconds;
only the On/Off button remains active.
yThe timer displays the countdown.
4.4.5 Locking function
In order to prevent undesired changes to the settings of the
cooking zones, the control panel can be locked permanently.
Access takes place after pressing the menu button;
the corresponding symbol is displayed.
Button Function
☞Make sure that all cooking zones are
switched off.
☞Press the slider at the position below the
symbol.
yThe display “L” appears for all cooking
zones.
yThe control panel is locked; only the
On/Off button and the menu button
remain active.
To switch off the function:
☞Press the menu button.
☞Press the slider at the position below the
symbol for 3 seconds.
