Raclette Use instructions

SOME WARNING:
• Read the operating instructions carefully before putting the appliance into operation and keep the instructions
including the warranty, the receipt and, if possible, the box with the internal packing.
• The appliance is designed exclusively for private use.
• Never leave the appliance outdoor exposed to atmospheric agents.
• Never immerse the appliance in water.
• When the appliance is not in use switch it off and always pull out the plug from the socket.
• Do not operate the machine without supervision especially if there are children in the near.
• Make sure that the cable will not hanging low or get in touch with hot surfaces.
• Keep the appliance at a safe distance from easily inammable objects such as furniture, curtains, etc.!
• Place the unit on a at and heat-resistant surface.
• Let the appliance cool down before cleaning and storing.
• Never let water get into the fat.
• In order to ensure safety, please keep all packaging (plastic bags, boxes, polystyrene etc.) out of their reach.
Set-up for use
• Open the gift box and check that all components are in and in good condition.
• Clean all parts as described in appropriate chapter “cleaning”.
• Grease the pans slightly with olive oil or butter. Insert the pans in the relevant cavities in the bottom plate.
Make the appliance work for about 5 minutes without any food in it. (A small amount of smoke is normal so
please ensure that there is adequate ventilation).
Using the appliance
Place the device on a at and heat-resistant surface.
1. Cut all the ingredients into small pieces or slices.
2. Lightly grease the baking plate with some olive oil or butter.
3. Please ensure that the thermostat is turned into OFF position. Plug in. The lamp placed on the left side lights
on.
4. Put the thermostat on MAX position and let the appliance heat for aprox. 10 minutes.
5. Place food to be grilled on the cooking plate. In the pans you can cook side dishes such as mushrooms or
small slices of bread with cheese to cook. To avoid damaging the non-stick coating, remove the food with a
wood spatula.
Warming function
Turn the thermostat to the lowest setting. The plate now serves as a hot plate and keep food warm.
After Use
Turn the thermostat onto OFF position than unplug from the socket.
Cleaning
Always pull the plug out of the mains socket and wait until the unit has cooled down before cleaning the unit.
• Never immerse the appliance into water.
• Clean the pan with soapy water.
• Please remove any food residues while they are still warm with a damp cloth or paper towel.
Wash off the plate with a soft sponge and soapy water, then rinse with clear water and dry thoroughly with a
soft cloth.
• Do not use sharp objects to clean the appliance. Otherwise, the non-stick coating may be damaged.
• Use a slightly damp cloth to clean the external parts of the unit.
