Funzionamento
Inserire la spina in una presa di corrente elettrica, si accendono la spia di funzionamento (luce rossa
– 1) e la spia termostato (luce verde – 2).
Collocare all’interno della piastra inferiore il toast e chiudere le piastre della tostiera, comprimendo
leggermente no ad ottenere la chiusura del gancio (4).
Fare attenzione a non toccare le parti calde della tostiera.
La cottura del toast avviene mediamente in 2-3 minuti; la spia termostato (luce verde – 2) si
spegne e il toast è pronto.
Quando la spia termostato (luce verde – 2) si spegne la tostiera è arrivata alla temperatura mas-
sima.
Controllare la giusta cottura regolandosi secondo i propri gusti, dopo che la spia termostato (luce
verde – 2) si è spenta, si può lasciare ancora il toast per avere una maggiore tostatura/cottura.
Dopo la cottura togliere il toast dalla piastra servendosi, se necessario, di una spatola di legno o di
plastica (non in dotazione).
Durante questa operazione fare molta attenzione a non toccare le parti calde della tostiera.
Non usare spatole o coltelli in metallo perché potrebbero danneggiare il rivestimento della
piastra.
Finita la cottura del toast, staccare la spina dalla presa di corrente elettrica.
Se necessario, per spostare la tostiera usare solo l’impugnatura termoisolante (3), le parti della
tostiera potrebbero essere molto calde.
ALCUNI CONSIGLI
Preriscaldare le piastre prima dell’uso inserendo la spina nella presa di corrente elettrica prima di
iniziare la preparazione del toast.
Per sandwich/toast con riempimenti cremosi e molli usare pane di spessore medio.
Per ottenere sandwich/toast più croccanti si consiglia di spargere sulle piastre un cucchiaino di
zucchero.
Per ottenere un maggior effetto di doratura del toast si può spalmare un leggero strato di burro sulle
facce del pane a contatto con le piastre.
PULIZIA E MANUTENZIONE DELLA TOSTIERA
Prima di effettuare qualsiasi operazione di pulizia o di manutenzione, disinserire l’apparecchio dal-
la rete di alimentazione elettrica, o staccando la spina, o spegnendo l’interruttore dell’impianto, e
aspettare che l’apparecchio si raffreddi completamente.
Pulire le piastre e la parte esterna con un panno umido.
Evitare l’utilizzo di utensili metallici taglienti o prodotti abrasivi in quanto potrebbero danneggiare il
rivestimento delle piastre.
Non immergere mai la tostiera nell’acqua.
La tostiera può esser riposta anche in posizione verticale, se completamente fredda e non in fun-
zione.
