Smart Scene
Automatically selects the best shooting mode from Backlight , Night Scene ,
Foliage , Landscape , Macro , Night Portrait , Portrait , and Text
.
1. Press and select .
2. Press the shutter halfway to set automatic focus. The selected shooting mode is displayed
in the top left corner of the screen.
3. Press the shutter to capture an image.
Panorama
You can create a wide-view photo by stitching 2 or 3 images into one single panoramic
scene.
To take a panoramic picture:
1. Press and select .
2. Press or to select the direction (from left to right or right to left) of the panoramic
picture, and then press .
3. Press the shutter to take the first picture.
4. Follow the direction you selected in Step 2 and move the camera to the position where you
want to take the second image. (As you move the camera, you can hear a series of beeps
that indicate the camera is moving close to the right position for stitching. In addition, one
yellow horizontal arrow and one red vertical arrow will appear on the screen if the camera is
not in the right position.)
5. Once the beeps become a continuing beep and the two arrows disappear, the camera will
automatically take the second picture.
6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 to let the camera take the third picture. (If you do not want the third
one, press ).
7. Press to see the finalized panoramic picture.
Photo Frame
You can select a photo frame and place it into the current composition. So, the picture you
take will contain such a photo frame.
To add a photo frame:
1. Press and select .
2. Press and use , , , or to locate a desired photo frame.
3. Press to select this photo frame.
It is recommended to using a tripod for better stability while taking a panorama image.
When taking the second and the third pictures, portions of the previously taken
pictures are overlaid on the LCD display to help you decide the border for stitching.
When taking the second and the third pictures, you can press to remove the first
or the second picture and then take new pictures for the panoramic scene.
