SICHERHEITSHINWEISE ZUM STRASSENVERKEHR
Bei falscher oder nicht vorschriftsmäßiger Verwendung des BEN-E-BIKE besteht ein hohes Unfallrisiko.
• Verwenden Sie das BEN-E-BIKE nur im öffentlichen Straßenverkehr, wenn die Ausstattung den
landesspezifischen Vorschriften zum Straßenverkehr entspricht (siehe Kapitel „Hinweise ›=
Straßenverkehr“) und entsprechend durch Sie oder Ihren Fachhändler nachgerüstet wurde.
• Verwenden Sie das BEN-E-BIKE nur unter Beachtung der landesspezifischen Vorschriften im
Straßenverkehr.
• Erklären Sie Ihrem Kind zur Benutzung von Fahrradwegen und Fahrbahnen die landesspezifischen und
regionalen Vorschriften.
Durch schlecht sichtbare Kleidung können andere Verkehrsteilnehmer Ihr Kind schlecht erkennen und dadurch in
Gefahrensituationen zu spät reagieren.
• Lassen Sie Ihr Kind nur mit heller und auffälliger Kleidung am Straßenverkehr teilnehmen, z. B.
Sportkleidung mit reflektierenden Elementen.
Wenn Ihr Kind keinen Kopfschutz trägt, sind bei Stürzen oder Unfällen schwere Kopfverletzungen möglich.
• Lassen Sie Ihr Kind das BEN-E-BIKE nur verwenden, wenn es einen Fahrradhelm trägt (siehe Kapitel
„Hinweise ›› Straßenverkehr ›› Fahrradhelm“).
Wenn Ihr Kind sich nicht auf den Straßenverkehr konzentriert, gefährdet es sich und andere Verkehrsteilnehmer.
• Erklären Sie Ihrem Kind, dass es sich während der Fahrt nicht durch andere Tätigkeiten ablenken darf.
• Verbieten Sie Ihrem Kind die Verwendung mobiler Endgeräte während der Fahrt, z. B. Smartphones.
• Verbieten Sie Ihrem Kind die Verwendung von Unterhaltungselektronik während der Fahrt, z. B. MP3-
Player.
