• Hoortoestellen en Soundgenerators kunnen gevaarlĳk zĳn bĳ incorrect gebruik.

• Soundsgenerators mogen alleen gebruikt worden op advies van uw arts, audioloog of gecertiﬁceerd

audicien.

• Soundgenerators zĳn geen speelgoed en ze moeten derhalve buiten bereik van iedereen bewaard wor-

den (met name kinderen en huisdieren) die zichzelf er iets mee zouden kunnen aandoen.

• Houd er s.v.p. rekening mee dat de MSG kalibratie tot ongemak zou kunnen leiden bĳ overgevoelige

Tinnitus patiënten.

• De gebruiker mag de Soundgenerator niet langer dan acht (8) uur per dag gebruiken als dit is ingesteld

lager dan 90db SPL. Vanaf dat niveau mag de Soundgenerator niet langer dan twee (2) uur per dag

gebruikt worden. De Soundgenerator mag onder geen enkele omstandigheid tot een oncomfortabel

niveau leiden. Kinderen en mensen met een fysieke of mentale beperking mogen het toestel alleen

dragen onder supervisie.

Algemene voorzorgsmaatregelen i

• Laat uw hoortoestel niet achter in de zon, bĳ open vuur of in een warme, geparkeerde auto.

• Draag uw hoortoestellen niet tĳdens het douchen, zwemmen, bĳ zware regen of in een vochtige omge-

ving, bĳvoorbeeld in een stoombad of sauna

• Mocht uw hoortoestel vochtig worden, leg het dan in een droogtoestel. Uw audicien zal u hier graag

over adviseren.

• Verwĳder uw hoortoestel voor het aanbrengen van cosmetica, zoals parfum, aftershave, haarlak of zon-

nebrandcrème.

• Door het dragen van een hoortoestel kan de productie van oorsmeer toenemen. In zeldzame gevallen
