Carga las bicicletas por separado en cada
una de las maniguetas. Aprieta todas las
correas de los tubos de la parte superior, o
del asiento. Figura H & I.
USO DE LAS MANIGUETAS
8. Carga la primera bicicleta con los engranajes
alejados del vehículo. Alternar la dirección de las
bicicletas facilita la carga del portabicicletas, y
evita que los timones se enreden.
9. Carga el portabicicletas de manera que el
tubo superior de la bicicleta se apoye en la
manigueta.
10. Pasa las correas de los tubos del marco
por los pasadores de las maniguetas, ténsalas
y junta los extremos de Velcro. Mueve cada
bicicleta para comprobar que las correas estén
firmemente aseguradas. La correa del marco se ha diseñado para
adaptarse a muchos tamaños de soportes de bicicletas y mantenerse
firme sin importar la temperatura o el tiempo Figura I.
11. Usa un seguro de cable BELL, un cable antivibratorio o cuerda
para asegurar los marcos y ruedas de las bicicletas y garantizar así su
transporte sin ningún riesgo.
Antes de cada uso, verifica que TODAS las correas estén
apretadas firmemente, y si usas un cable de seguridad,
comprueba que esté bien apretado y asegurado por completo.
6. Aprieta las correas superiores mientras
empujas el portabicicletas ligeramente hacia
adelante. Figura F.
7. Revisa la posición de los brazos – Los
brazos de apoyo deben quedar ligeramente
inclinados. Vuelve a ajustar las correas inferiores
y superiores; si el necesario, aprieta todas las
correas una vez más. Figura G.
