Veuillez impérativement observer les

Het is belangrijk de volgende aanwijzingen
voor de installatie, de aansluiting en het
gebruik van de telefoon aan te houden.
· De telefoon op een slipvaste ondergrond
plaatsen.
. De snoeren en kabels mogen geen
ongelukken kunnen veroorzaken.
. De telefoon niet aan warmtebronnen,
direct zonlicht, andere elektrische
toestellen, vocht, stof, bijtende vloeistoffen
of stoom blootstellen.
. De aansluitkabels alleen met de hiervoor
voorziene stekkers en contacten verbinden.
. Alleen goedgekeurde accessoires
aansluiten.
. In geen geval:
- het toestel zelf openen
- ingrepen in het toestel verrichten om de
eigenschappen te wijzigen
- de contacten aanraken met scherpe of
metalen voorwerpen
- de telefoon of de hoorn aan het snoer
dragen.

2.1 Safety instructions
It is essential to follow the instructions
below concerning the installation,
connection and use of the telephone.
· Place the telephone on a non-slip surface!
· To prevent accidents, keep the cords out
of the way of traffic.
· Keep the telephone away from sources of
heat, direct sunlight, other electrical
appliances, moisture, dust, potentially
harmful liquids and steam.
Connect the cords to the proper sockets
only.
Never connect unapproved accessories.
Never:
- open the telephone yourself!
- tamper with components inside the
unit!
- touch the contacts with pointed or
metal objects!
- carry the telephone or handset by their
cords!

· Nettoyez votre téléphone uniquement
avec un chiffon légèrement humide.
· N’utilisez pas votre téléphone dans des
salles humides (par exemple dans le bain),
ou présentant un danger d’explosion.
2.2. Raccorder le téléphone
Avant d’utiliser votre téléphone, branchez
le cordon de ligne. Pour votre sécurité,
veuillez respecter l’ordre des opérations ci-
dessous␣ :
Brancher le cordon de ligne
Branchez d’abord la fiche transparente
située à l’extémité spiralée du cordon dans
le connecteur correspondant situé à la base
du téléphone (voir p.␣ 5).
Selon vos besoins, placez le cordon de ligne
dans le chemin de câble situé au dos du
socle.
Branchez ensuite l’autre extrémité dans la
fiche téléphonique, que vous insérez alors
dans la prise murale.
Enlever le cordon de ligne
Pour votre sécurité, débranchez d’abord la
fiche téléphonique de votre prise téléphoni-
que murale.
Appuyez ensuite sur la languette du
connecteur transparent et tirez sur le
connecteur.
2.3. Montage mural
L’installation murale doit se faire sur une
surface plane.
Tirez l’ergot (1), tournez-le de 180° (2),
glissez-le jusqu’au clic (3).
Fixez le socle au mur à l’aide de 2 vis
espacées de 70 mm (4). Les vis doivent être
vissées de manière à maintenir fermement
le socle (3 mm < d < 3,8 mm).
- De telefoon alleen met een licht
vochtige doek reinigen.
- De telefoon niet in een vochtige ruimte
(zoals de badkamer) of een ruimte met
explosiegevaar gebruiken.
2.2. Aansluiting van de telefoon
Voor het eerste gebruik moet het
telefoonsnoer worden aangebracht. Voor
uw veiligheid moet de onderstaande
volgorde worden aangehouden:

Eerst de doorzichtige stekker van het
spiraalvormige uiteinde in de bus onder
aan de telefoon steken (zie blz. 5).
Vervolgens het snoer afhankelijk van de
benodigde lengte in de kabelvoering aan
de achterkant van de basis voeren.
Dan pas het andere uiteinde aan de
telefoonstekker bevestigen en deze in de
wandcontactdoos steken.
Verwijdering van het telefoonsnoer
Voor uw veiligheid moet eerst de
telefoonstekker uit de wandcontactdoos
worden getrokken.
Vervolgens op het lipje van de doorzichtige
stekker drukken en de stekker uit de bus
trekken.
2.3. Wandmontage
Het toestel moet op een vlakke ondergrond
worden geïnstalleerd.
De pen uittrekken (1), 180° draaien (2) en
verschuiven tot de pen inspringt (3).
De basis op de muur bevestigen met 2
schroeven op een afstand van 70 mm (4).
De basis stevig bevestigen met de
schroeven (3 mm < d < 3,8 mm).

Never use your telephone in a damp place,
such as a bathroom, or rooms where there
is a danger of explosion.
2.2. Connection
Before using your telephone, connect the
line cord to the wall socket. For your safety,
follow the instructions below in order:
Connecting the line cord
First insert the transparent connector on
the coiled end of the line cord into the
socket at the bottom of the handset
(see␣ p.␣ 5).
If you wish, fasten the line cord in the
holder on the back of the base unit.
Insert the other connector into the
wallplug.
Removing the line cord
For your safety, first unplug the cord from
the wall socket.
Then press on the tab on the transparent
connector and pull out.
2.3. Wall mounting instructions
The telephone must be mounted on a flat
surface.
Pull on the fitting plate (1), turn it 180° (2)
and slide it until it clicks into place (3).
Fix two screws to the wall 70 mm apart (4).
Mount the base unit on the screws. The
screws should be tightened such that the
base unit is held firmly against the wall
(heads protruding between 3 and 3.8 mm).

4. Réglages du téléphone
4.1. Régler la mélodie d’appel
Il est possible de modifier le volume sonore
et le rythme de la mélodie d’appel.
Décrochez le combiné.
Appuyez sur la touche de
programmation.
Appuyez sur la touche 1. Les
réglages en cours clignotent.
Pour régler le volume, utilisez les
touches 1 = faible à 4 = fort.
Pour régler le rythme, utilisez les
touches 5 = lent à 9 = rapide.
Appuyez sur la touche de
programmation.
Les nouveaux réglages sont
enregistrés.
* Info * Les nouveaux réglages ne seront
pas pris en compte si la procédure

De sterkte en het ritme van de belmelodie
kunnen als volgt worden gewijzigd:

De toets 1 indrukken. De huidige
instellingen knipperen.
De geluidssterkte instellen met de
toetsen 1 = zwak tot 4 = sterk.
Het ritme instellen met de toetsen
5 = langzaam tot 9 = snel.
De programmeertoets opnieuw
indrukken.
De nieuwe instellingen worden in
het geheugen opgeslagen.

The most-used functions have been pre-set
so that you can make calls right away.
Initial settings
Dialling mode: Dual tone multifrequency

pulse dialling mode.

De toetst voor de herhaling van
het laatste nummer indrukken.
Het nummer wordt gevormd.
U kunt het gesprek voeren.
* Note * Door elk nieuw gevormd nummer
wordt het vorige nummer in het
herhaalgeheugen gewist. Dit is tevens
van toepassing op de nummers uit het
directe geheugen.
Door indrukken van de toets R worden
alleen de cijfers opgeslagen die na het
indrukken van deze toets worden
ingevoerd.

(2 keer indrukken van een geheugentoets) om
automatisch een nummer te kunnen vormen.

De programmeertoets indrukken.
De gewenste geheugentoets 1
keer indrukken (direct geheugen),
of de gewenste geheugentoets 2
keer indrukken (indirect geheugen).
Vervolgens het gewenste nummer
invoeren (maximaal 24 cijfers).
Hierdoor wordt het vorige
nummer in het geheugen
vervangen.
De programmeertoets indrukken.
Het nummer is opgeslagen.
* Info * Ook de tekens *, #, R en pauze
kunnen in het geheugen worden
opgeslagen.
7.2. Bellen via het geheugen
De hoorn afnemen
De geheugentoets 1 keer
indrukken (direct geheugen),
of de geheugentoets 2 keer
indrukken (indirect geheugen).
Het nummer wordt automatisch
gevormd. U kunt het gesprek
voeren.
* Info * Na-nummeren: U heeft de
mogelijkheid slechts de eerste cijfers
van een nummer op te slaan en de
laatste cijfers van dit nummer later
handmatig in te voeren.

Your telephone can store up to three
numbers in direct memory (press the
memory key once) and up to three
numbers in indirect memory (press the
memory key twice).
7.1. Memorising numbers
Lift the handset.
Press the program key.
Press the memory key (you want
to use) once (direct memory).
Or press the memory key twice
(indirect memory).
Enter the desired telephone
number (24 digits maximum).
Any previously stored number is
replaced.
Press the program key. The
telephone number is stored.
* Note * The *, #, R and key functions can
also be stored.
7.2. Dialling stored numbers
Lift the handset.
Press the memory key once (direct
memory).
Or press the memory key twice
(indirect memory). The stored
number is dialled automatically.

digits of a telephone number and then
dial the remaining digits by hand.

ce qu’il insère automatiquement une pause
de 2 sec. après la composition du préfixe
de sortie vers le réseau.

Introduisez le préfixe de sortie vers

If your telephone is connected to a PBX
you can program it to automatically insert a
two-second pause after the dialout prefix.
Lift the handset.
Press the program key then 0.
Dial 0 7 2.
Dial the dialout prefix, e.g. 0.
Press the program key.
The dialout prefix is stored.
* Note * Keys 0 to 9, *, # and R can be stored.
The pause also follows stored
numbers.

10. Algemene informatie
10.1. Garantie
De omschreven eindapparatuur, die speciaal voor u werd uitgekozen door Belgacom, is gewaarborgd
"onderdelen en arbeidsloon" tegen elk materieel defect of fabricagefout voor een duur van één jaar
behoudens tegenstrijdige contractuele bepalingen. De termijn neemt een aanvang op de datum van de
afhaling of de levering van het toestel.
De verplaatsingen van de Belgacom-personeelsleden worden niet gedekt door de garantie tenzij er een
overeenkomst voor technische bijstand afgesloten is.
Mocht u moeilijkheden ondervinden met uw toestel, dan kan u contact opnemen met de bevoegde
technische dienst op het op de onderzijde vermelde telefoonnummer, of het volledige toestel voorleggen in
een van onze Teleboetieks, in de originele verpakking (of een andere die een gelijkwaardige bescherming
biedt), samen met dit garantiecertificaat. De adressen van onze Teleboetieks vindt u in de
informatiebladzijden van de telefoongids.
In geval van materiaalfout of fabricagegebrek zal uw toestel gratis worden hersteld of vervangen mits
voorlegging van onderhavig garantiecertificaat, dat naar behoren is ingevuld bij de verkoop. Enkel
Belgacom bepaalt welke herstellingen en/of vervangingen nodig zijn. De garantietermijn toepasselijk op
een hersteld of vervangen toestel eindigt op de vervaldag van de garantie van het gekochte toestel, zonder
evenwel minder dan drie maanden te mogen bedragen.
Worden niet door de garantie gedekt :
- schade van eender welke aard die niet bestond vóór de verkoop;
- schade, storingen en defecten ingevolge een fout van de klant of waarvan de oorzaak extern is aan het
toestel: bliksem, overspanningen, toevallige beschadigingen, vochtigheid, verkeerd gebruik of onderhoud,
niet naleven van de richtlijnen in de gebruiksaanwijzing alsook alle gevallen van overmacht;
- herstelling of vervanging van losse elementen (batterijen,papier,inkt, enz...) en het ter beschikking stellen
van onderhoudsproducten
De garantie is niet van toepassing :
- als de gebruiker zelf, of met tussenkomst van personen die niet bevoegd verklaard zijn door Belgacom,
het toestel wijzigt of herstelt;
- als hij de fabricagenummers en/of de merktekens van de eindapparatuur verwijdert of vervalst.
De verantwoordelijkheid van Belgacom kan niet worden ingeroepen voor indirecte of immateriële schade
geleden door de koper ten gevolge van een gebrekkig functioneren van de eindapparatuur, zoals onder
meer elk productieverlies, winstderving of verlies van contracten.
De algemene en specifieke verkoopvoorwaarden van onze eindapparatuur kunnen op eenvoudig verzoek
verkregen worden in alle voor het publiek toegankelijke diensten van Belgacom.

10. Informations générales
10.1. Garantie
Spécialement sélectionné pour vous par Belgacom, l'appareil terminal décrit est couvert par une garantie
pièces et main-d'œuvre contre tout défaut matériel ou vice de fabrication pour une durée de un an, sauf
dispositions contractuelles contraires. La garantie prend cours à la date de retrait ou de livraison de
l'appareil. Les déplacements du personnel de Belgacom ne sont pas couverts par la garantie, sauf si un
contrat d'assistance technique a été conclu.
Si vous deviez éprouver des difficultés avec votre appareil, il y aurait lieu, soit de téléphoner au service
technique compétent indiqué ci-dessous, soit de vous rendre dans une de nos Téléboutiques, muni du
présent certificat ainsi que de l'appareil complet dans son emballage d'origine ou dans un autre garantissant
une sécurité analogue. Les adresses de nos Téléboutiques figurent dans les pages d'information des Guides
téléphoniques.
En cas de défaut matériel ou vice de fabrication, votre appareil sera réparé ou remplacé gratuitement sur
présentation de ce certificat de garantie dûment complété lors de l'achat. Belgacom détermine seule quels
sont les réparations et/ou remplacements nécessaires. Le délai de garantie applicable à un appareil réparé ou
remplacé expire au moment de l'échéance du délai de garantie applicable à l'appareil acheté, sans toutefois
pouvoir être inférieur à 3␣ mois.
La garantie ne couvre pas :
- les dommages de toute nature dont l'origine ne serait pas antérieure à la vente ;
- les dommages, les dérangements et les défectuosités dus à une faute du client ou dont la cause est
extérieure à l'appareil : foudre, surtensions, humidité, détériorations accidentelles, mauvaise utilisation ou
mauvais entretien, non-observation des instructions du mode d'emploi, ainsi que tous cas de force
- la réparation ou le remplacement des éléments mobiles (cordons, fils, prises, antennes, etc...), le
remplacement des éléments accessoires dont le renouvellement régulier est nécessaire (piles, batteries,
papier, encre, etc...) et la fourniture en produits de nettoyage.
La garantie n'est pas applicable :
- si le client modifie ou répare l'appareil terminal lui-même ou avec les services de personnes non habilitées
par Belgacom ;
- ou s'il enlève ou falsifie les numéros de fabrication et/ou les marques de l'appareil terminal.
La responsabilité de Belgacom ne pourrait être engagée pour des dommages indirects ou immatériels subis
par le client du fait d'un mauvais fonctionnement de l'appareil terminal, tels que notamment toute perte de
production, manque à ou perte de contrats.
Les conditions générales de vente de nos appareils terminaux peuvent être obtenues sur simple demande
dans tous les services de Belgacom accessibles au public.

10. General information
10.1. Warranty
The terminal described was specially selected for you by Belgacom. Unless otherwise stipulated by contract,
the terminal carries a one-year guarantee covering the cost of spare parts and labour due to a material or
manufacturing defect. The guarantee will take effect as from the date on which the device is collected or
delivered. Travel by Belgacom employees is not covered by the guarantee unless a technical assistance
contract has been signed.
If you should have any difficulties with your terminal, you should either telephone the relevant technical
department indicated below or you should go to one of our Téléboutiques, bringing with you this
certificate and the complete device in its original packaging or a packaging ensuring a similar degree of
protection. The addresses of our Téléboutiques are in the information pages of the telephone Directory.
In the event of defective material or a manufacturing defect, your device will be repaired or replaced free of
charge on presentation of this guarantee certificate duly completed at the time of purchase. Belgacom
alone will determine what repairs and/or replacements will be necessary. The guarantee period applicable
to a device which has been repaired or replaced will end on expiry of the guarantee period applicable to
the device purchased but may not be less than three months.
The guarantee does not cover:
- damage of any kind, the origin of which is not prior to the sale;
- any damage, malfunction or defect due to a fault of the customer or the cause of which is external to the
device: lightning, voltage surge, humidity, accidental deterioration, improper use or poor maintenance,
failure to follow the instructions or any case of force majeure;
- repair or replacement of the movable elements (cords, wires, plugs, antennas etc.), replacement of
accessory elements, the regular renewal of which is necessary (batteries, paper, ink etc.) or the supply of
cleaning products.
The guarantee will not apply:
- if the customer personally modifies or repairs the device or does so with the assistance of any person who
is not authorized by Belgacom; or
- if the customer removes or falsifies the manufacturing numbers and/or the markings on the terminal.
Belgacom will not be liable for any indirect or non-material loss suffered by the customer due to a
malfunction of the terminal such as in particular a production loss, loss of earnings or loss of a contract.
The general terms and conditions applicable to our terminals may be obtained on application to any of the
Belgacom departments accessible to the public.

Bij een eventuele storing vragen wij u eerst de volgende punten te controleren en het
toestel pas ter reparatie aan te bieden als het probleem blijft aanhouden.
