1.2 Child safety
aThis product can be used by children 8 years and older, by
people whose physical, sensory and mental abilities are
reduced as well as by people unfamiliar with this type of
device, provided they are under the supervision or have
received training from a responsible person allowing them
to use appliance safely and to avoid the associated risks.
Children should not play with the device. Cleaning and
maintenance of the appliance should never be carried out
by children without the supervision of a responsible
person. Keep children under 3 years of age away unless
continuously supervised.
aPackaging materials can be hazardous to
children. Keep all packing materials in a safe place,
out of the reach of children.
aElectrical appliances are dangerous for children.
Keep them away from the machine when it is running.
Don't let them play with the machine. Use the Child Lock
function to prevent children from playing with the device.
aRemember to close the porthole when you leave the room where
the device is located.
aStore detergents and additives carefully out of the reach of
children by closing the lid of the detergent package or
completely sealing the package.
1.3 Electrical Safety
aIf the device breaks down, do not use it unless it has
been repaired by the authorized service agent. You will expose yourself
to the risk of electric shock!
aThis device has been designed to resume operation in the event of
power-up after a power outage. If you wish to cancel
the program, refer to the “Cancelling the program”
section.
