Troubleshooting
Problem Reason Soluton
Program does not start after
closng the door.
Start / Pause / Cancel button was not pressed. *Press the Start / Pause / Cancel button.
It may be dffcult to close the loadng door n case
of excessve loadng.
Reduce the amount of laundry and make sure
that the loadng door s closed properly.
Programme cannot be started or
selected.
Washng machne has swtched to self protecton
mode due to a supply problem (lne voltage, water
pressure, etc.).
To cancel the programme, turn the
Programme Selecton knob to select another
programme. Prevous programme wll be
canceled. (see. “Cancellaton of program”)
Water n the machne.
Some water mght have remaned n the product due
to the qualty control processes n the producton.
Ths s not a falure; water s not harmful to
the machne.
The machne enters standby
mode after the programme
starts or t does not take n
water.
Tap s turned off. Turn on the taps.
Water nlet hose s bent. Flatten the hose.
Water nlet flter s clogged. Clean the flter.
Loadng door may be open. Close the door.
The water connecton may be wrong or water may
be cut off (When the water s cut off, washng or
rnsng LEDs flash).
Check the water connecton. If the water s
cut off, press the Start/Pause key after the
water has been suppled agan to resume the
operaton from standby mode.
Machne does not dran water.
Water dran hose mght be clogged or twsted. Clean or flatten the hose.
Pump flter s clogged. Clean the pump flter.
Machne vbrates or makes nose.
Machne mght be standng unbalanced. Adjust the feet to level the machne.
A hard substance mght have entered nto the
pump flter.
Clean the pump flter.
Transportaton safety bolts are not removed. Remove the transportaton safety bolts.
Laundry quantty n the machne mght be too lttle.
Add more laundry to the machne.
Machne mght be overloaded wth laundry. Take out some of the laundry from the
machne or dstrbute the load by hand to
balance t homogenously n the machne.
Machne mght be leanng on a rgd tem. Make sure that the machne s not leanng
on anythng.
There s water leakng from the
bottom of the washng machne.
Water dran hose mght be clogged or twsted. Clean or flatten the hose.
Pump flter s clogged. Clean the pump flter.
Machne stopped shortly after
the programme started.
Machne mght have stopped temporarly due to
low voltage.
It wll resume runnng when the voltage
restores to the normal level.
Machne drectly dscharges the
water t takes n.
Dranng hose mght not be at adequate heght. Connect the water dranng hose as
descrbed n the operaton manual.
No water can be seen n the
machne durng washng.
The water level s not vsble from outsde of the
washng machne.
Ths s not a falure.
Loadng door cannot be opened.
Door lock s actvated because of the water level
n the machne.
Dran the water by runnng the Pump or Spn
programme.
Machne s heatng up the water or t s at the
spnnng cycle.
Wat untl the programme completes.
Chld lock s engaged. Door lock wll be deactvated
a couple of mnutes after the programme has
come to an end.
Wat for a couple of mnutes for deactvaton
of the door lock.
Loadng door may be stuck because of the
pressure t s subjected to.
Grab the handle and push and pull the loadng
door to release and open t.
Washng takes longer tme than
specfed n the manual.(*)
Water pressure s low. Machne wats untl takng n adequate
amount of water to prevent poor washng
qualty due to the decreased amount of
water. Therefore, the washng tme extends.
Voltage mght be low.
Washng tme s prolonged to avod poor
washng results when the supply voltage s low.
Input temperature of water mght be low. Requred tme to heat up the water extends
n cold seasons. Also, washng tme can be
lengthened to avod poor washng results.
Number of rnses and/or amount of rnse water
mght have ncreased.
Machne ncreases the amount of rnse water
when good rnsng s needed and adds an
extra rnsng step f necessary.
Excessve foam mght have occurred and
automatc foam absorpton system mght have
been actvated due to too much detergent usage.
Use recommended amount of detergent.
