3.5 Prueba de los utensilios
Nunca ponga en funcionamiento el horno si se
encuentra vacío. La única excepción es la prueba
de los utensilios descrita en la siguiente sección.
Algunos utensilios no metálicos pueden no ser
aptos para su utilización en microondas. Si no
está seguro de que su utensilio sea apto para
microondas, puede realizar la siguiente prueba.
1. Coloque el utensilio vacío para el que realice la
prueba en el horno microondas junto con un
vaso compatible con microondas lleno de 250
ml de agua.
2. Ponga en funcionamiento el horno a tempera-
tura máxima durante 1 minuto.
3. Verifique cuidadosamente la temperatura del
utensilio que está probando. Si se calentó, no es
adecuado para su utilización en microondas.
4. Nunca exceda el tiempo límite de funcionamien-
to de 1 minuto. Si nota algún tipo de arqueo del
material durante el minuto de funcionamiento,
detenga el microondas. Los utensilios que se
arquean no son aptos para su utilización en mi-
croondas.
La siguiente lista es una guía general que le
ayudará para seleccionar el utensilio correcto.
