Controls
(1) VOLUME knob adjusts the master volume of
the headphone output and main output.
(2) DISPLAY shows values such as the current
KIT, VOICE, or PATTERN number, the TEMPO
signature, and volume. The display dot
indicates the current mode: KIT, VOICE,
orPAT.
(3) START/STOP button starts or stops the
playback of a PATTERN, or starts/stops
arecording.
(4) SAVE/RECORD button: Press once to
save a new kit, or press-and-hold to enter
recording mode.
(5) CLICK button starts or stops themetronome.
(6) DRUM OFF button mutes/unmutes the
drum track of a PATTERN.
(7) Minus (–) and Plus (+) buttons allows
you to choose di erent KITS, VOICES,
and PATTERNS, and to adjust the TEMPO,
volume,etc.
(8) Pad Select buttons allow the selection of
the individual drum heads and cymbals.
Presseach one to hear its sound.
(9) TEMPO button allows you to adjust the
tempo of the current PATTERN orrecording.
(10) VOICE button allows you to select a di erent
voice for each pad and cymbal. You can save
any changes as a new KIT.
(11) PAT button allows you to select various
patterns to play along to. There are 40
di erent patterns, and pattern 41 will
playback your last recording.
(12) KIT button allows you to play 10 di erent
drum kits or 5 user-saved kits.
(13) VOLUME button allows you to adjust
the volume of the current KIT, VOICE,
orPATTERN.
(14) USB connection to a computer for receiving
or transmitting MIDI information.
(15) OUTPUT line-level output for connection to
a mixer or active speaker.
(16) AUX IN ⁄" stereo input connects an audio
source such as an MP3 player, CD player,
orcomputer audio output, to play along to.
(17) DC IN connects to the supplied AC/DC power
supply adapter.
(18) ON/OFF switch turns the drum
module on/o .
(19) PHONES ⁄" stereo output for headphones.
Make sure the volume control is
turned down before connecting and
wearingheadphones.
(20) Mounting Tube for attaching the drum
module to the drum kit frame.
(21) DB25 connector for attaching the supplied
cable harness.
