25. Take care when opening the lid, hot steam escapes!
26. The handle of the lid becomes hot during use. Always use oven gloves or an
oven cloth to open the lid.
27. Fill the appliance only to the maximum water level. If it is over-filled then hot
water may spray out.
28. Remove the plug from the mains supply and allow the appliance to cool down,
before cleaning.
RISK of injury
29. Use only the accessoires supplied. Using other parts may lead to personal injury
or damage to property.
30. Do not let the power cord hang over corners (trip-wire effect).
CAUTION – material damage
31. Put the appliance on a horizontal, flat, heat-resistent, stable surface, at least 5
cm from the wall.
32. Do not place the appliance on a surface which may be damaged by hot water.
33. Do not place the appliance near a gas flame, electrical heating ring or other
source of heat. The appliance may be damaged by external sources of heat.

5 Before initial operation
Make sure that all packaging material has been removed from the appliance
(protective film, etc.).
Check that all parts are there (see chapter 3 “Description of appliance and scope of
delivery”).
Leave the specification plate and any warning notices on the appliance.
CAUTION: Make sure that the appliance is not damaged; if parts are damaged,
do not operate the appliance but contact qualified service personnel.
Do not place the appliance directly under wall-mounted cupboards.
Clean the appliance and accessories before the first use, as described in chapter 7.
Insert the mains plug in apower socket.
Your sausage warmer is now ready for use.
NOTE: When you use the appliance for the first time, there might be some slight
fumes.
6 Use
Place the inner tray in the water container.
Fill the container with hot water to the required level, maximum to the max level
mark.
Place the sausages in the hot water.
Check that the thermostat turnable knob is turned to “O”.
Place the mains plug in the mains supply.
