Baking times
The baking time depends on the mixture
and the selected setting on the tempera-
ture regulator.
The baking time for a thick but smoothly
owing mixture
is 6 - 7 minutes at level 1,
3 minutes at level 3,
and approximately 40 seconds at level
6, which allows quick preparation of
tasty wafes - without long waiting
times.
Recipe suggestion
Butter wafes (approx. 10 wafes)
150 g of soft butter
60 g of sugar
2 packets of vanilla sugar
3 eggs
200 g of our
½ teaspoon of baking powder
¼ l of milk
Allow the butter to melt and cool down
again. Stir in the vanilla sugar and then
the eggs. Finally add the our with the
baking powder and the milk. Stir every-
thing to smooth mass.

the recipe book supplied.
Baking wafes
Prepare the wafe mixture.
Oil the heating surfaces each time
before using – not before each wafe.
Saturate a kitchen roll with vegetable
oil and wipe it over the heating sur-
faces.
Fold the lid down.
Set the temperature regulator to the
desired level.
We recommend level 3.
Insert the plug into a mains socket.
The red power indicator (3) lights up
and the appliance starts heating.
Wait until the green temperature indi-
cator lights up. This can take 2 to 3
minutes.
Fold the lid (6) up.
Fill the middle of the lower hotplate
with the wafe mixture.
Fold the lid down.
NOTE
If too much wafe mixture is used,
it can ooze out of the side of the
appliance. This particularly applies
to mixtures with raising agents. Use
less mixture when lling the next
time.
If you ll with too little mixture, the
wafes will be smaller.
During baking, lift up the lid briey to
inspect the wafe. Allow it to bake to a
golden brown colour.
