Preparation
Setting the incline angle
Turn the adjusting wheel (8) clockwise
in the direction to extend the
adjustable feet. This raises the back
of the appliance so that surplus fat
or marinade can run into the drip tray
during grilling.
Turn the adjusting wheel (8) anti-
clockwise in the direction to
retract the rear adjustable feet.
Insert drip tray
Push the removable drip tray (7) from
the front into the holder on the lower
part of the housing.
Operation and use
General notes
The food should be at room tempera- ■
ture since frozen food requires longer
to cook and can also dry out.
To achieve the best results, preheat ■
the grill until the required temperature
has been reached and the heating
control lamp (3) lights up.
Carefully monitor grilling and regulate ■
the temperature – if necessary.
Set a higher incline angle when grilling ■
marinated food so that surplus mari-
nade can run more easily.
Set a smaller incline angle when grill- ■
ing vegetables and low-fat meat.
You can use the appliance to cook ■
various different foods such as steaks,
sausages or vegetables.
The appliance is particularly suitable ■
for quick low-fat preparation of meals
since both sides are grilled simultane-
ously and the ribbed surface of the grill
allows fat to quickly run into the drip
tray.
If you wish to grill different meals at the ■
same time, they must have the same
thickness so that contact to the surface
of the grill plate remains even.
Using the appliance
Insert the drip tray (7) as described
in the section Inserting the drip tray
(page 22).
Set the desired incline angle of the
appliance with the adjustable wheel
(8) as described in the section Setting
the incline angle (page 22).
Set the desired temperature with the
temperatur regulator (1) according to
the dish (see the section Tempera-
ture regulator; page 20).
Insert the plug into a mains socket.
The power indicator light (5) lights up.
