Lift the motor head (10) slightly
Keep the release lever (1) in position .
Tilt the motor head (10) back again, until you feel it lock into place. Let go of the
release lever (1) during this process.
1.3. Removing the mixing bowl
Make sure that the speed regulator (2) is set to 0 (off).
Press the motor head (10) down lightly.
Hold the release lever (1) at the position.
Tilt the motor head (10) back (upwards) until it can be heard to lock in place.
Turn the mixing bowl (3) anti-clockwise until it is released – now you can lift the bowl
off.
1.4. Fitting the transparent protective cover
Press the motor head (10) down lightly.
Hold the release lever (1) at the position.
Tilt the motor head (10) back (upwards)
until it can be heard to lock in place.
Place the protective cover (8) flat on the
motor head (10).
Heed the recesses of the motor head (10)
and protective cover (8).
Turn the protective cover (8) slightly anti-
clockwise until it is firmly in place.
The flap opening should now be pointing to
the operating side of the food processor –
you can mount the protective cover (8)
turned through 180 degrees, however.
The protective cover (8) is to prevent ingredients spattering out as well as for
general protection/safety.
To make your work easier, there is a flap opening on the protective cover (8) which
can be used to add further ingredients during the mixing process without having to
remove the protective cover (8).
WARNING: Do not add ingredients by hand through the opened flap
during the mixing process. Keep your hands away from the flap opening
during operation. Do not push spatulas or any other kitchen aids
through the flap opening during operation. When adding ingredients
through the flap opening, switch the machine off briefly.
1.5. Attaching the balloon stainless steel whisk, kneading hook and mixing hook
Make sure the plug has been removed from the mains. Set the speed regulator (2)
to 0 (off).
Press the motor head (10) down lightly.
Hold the release lever (1) at the position.
Tilt the motor head (10) back (upwards) until it can be heard to lock in place.
Insert the accessory part as far as it will go on the mixer shaft (note the position of
the guide groove) and turn it clockwise until it locks in place or sits firmly.
Press the motor head (10) down lightly.
Hold the release lever (1) at the position.
Tilt the motor head (10) back again until you feel it lock into place. Let go of the
release lever (1) during this process.
Caution: The protective cover (8) and mixing bowl (3) must be in place before you
use the attachments.
The mixer shaft (4) rotates during operation. Which is why the protective cover (8)
must always be fixed correctly during mixing.
