Preparing tea

• Pour water into the kettle and boil it with the lid on.

• Add the tea leaves or teabag to the teapot and pour hot

water over the tea.

• Take the lid from the kettle. Place the teapot on top of

the kettle and place the lid on the teapot. The hot water

in the kettle keeps the tea in the tea pot warm.

Special cleaning instructions

The teapot set cannot be put in the dishwasher due to the

handles. Scourers and scouring powders containing sand

scratch the surface and should therefore not be used.

Rainbow-coloured rims are a sign of overheating; these dis-

appear after several uses. Yellow or even brown discoloura-

tions caused by overheating remain.

Rust stains are caused by iron and lime residues in the

water and are purely supercial. They can be removed

using conventional detergents designed for stainless steel

cookware.

Small white marks appear on the base as a result of using

calcareous water. All kinds of marks can be removed using

vinegar and/or lemon juice, covering with warm water and

leaving to stand overnight.
