Handling and Operation

NOTICES

• Do not pour milk or other liquids into the water tank. Only ever use water to make

coffee!

• Never overﬁ ll the permanent ﬁ lter.

Filling the Water Tank

1. Open the water tank lid (1).

2. Pour the quantity of water you want (min. 250 ml, max. 1250 ml) into the glass jug (8) and

then into water tank. Keep an eye on the water level indicator (3) in the water tank (Fig.A)!

3. Close the water tank lid.

Inserting the Filter

1. Open the lid of the ﬁ lter compartment (11) .

2. If you have not already done so, place the ﬁ lter holder (12) into the ﬁ lter compartment (10).

Make sure that the ﬁ lter holder is positioned correctly in the ﬁ lter compartment (Fig. B).

3. Insert the permanent ﬁ lter (13) into the ﬁ lter compartment.

4. Close the ﬁ lter compartment lid.

NOTICES

• Do not operate the device without water or with less water than is required to reach the

MIN mark (approx. 250 ml). If this does happen, the device switches off automatically. In

this case, allow the device to cool down before water is poured in and the device is used

again.

• Never use the device without the glass jug below the coffee outlet.

1. Fill the water tank (2) with water (see the “Handling and Operation” chapter | “Filling the

Water Tank”).

2. Insert the ﬁ lter holder (12) and the permanent ﬁ lter (13) into the ﬁ lter compartment (10)

(see the “Handling and Operation” chapter | “Inserting the Filter”).

3. Pour the amount of ground coffee you want into the permanent ﬁ lter using a suitable spoon.

We recommend one level coffee measuring spoon (not supplied with the device) per 125 ml.
