ADDING GARMENTS
An icon on the display will sig nal when ad ditional gar ments c an be
introduced i nto the washing machine, wi thout de creasing the washin g
per fo rmance. T o add garm ents, r st sto p the washing machin e by pressing
the ST ART /PA USE but ton then op en the do or and inse r t them.
Press the ST ART/P AUSE button again to restart the wash cycle from
the point at which it was interrupted .
CHANGING A R UNNING W ASH CY CLE
T o change a wash cycle while it is in progress, pause the washing machine
using the ST ART/P AUSE button, then select the desired cycle and press
the ST ART/P AUSE button again.
! T o cancel a c ycle that has already begun, pr ess and hold the ON/OFF
button. The cycle will be stopped and the machine will switch o .
A T THE END OF THE W ASH CY CLE
This will b e indicated by th e word “” on the display; when th e
sym bol s witches o, the door m ay be ope ned. O pen the d oor, unload the
laundr y and s witch o the machin e. If you do not p ress “ON/OFF” but ton,
the washing machi ne will sw itch o automatically af ter about a 1 0 minutes .
OPTIONS
- If the selected option is not compatible with the set wash cycle, the
indicator light will ash accompanied b y a buzzer and the option will
not be activated.
- If the selected option is not compatible with another previously
selected option, the indicator light will ash accompanied by a buzz er
and the option will not be activated.
Dampf Hygiene (Steam Hy giene)
This option enhances washing performance by generating steam during
the wash cycle to remov e any bacteria from the bres, which are tr eated
at the same time. Place the laundry in the drum, choose a compatible
programme and select option Steam Hygiene .
! The steam generated during the operation of the w ashing machine may
cause the porthole door to become haz y .
Final C are
The washing machine will perform gentle tumbling through slow
rotations of the drum. F inal Care option starts af ter the cycle ends for a
maximum duration of 6h and you can int errupt at any time by pressing
any button on con trol panel or turning the k nob.
Rapid / Green
After pushing the button for the 1st time , option R apid is selected and the
cycle duration will be reduced.
Other wise after pushing for the 2nd time, option Green is selected
allowing more energy sa ving.
Active Car e
The detergent , premixed with water , creates an unique emulsion able
to better penetrate the bers of the garments , cleaning stains at even
low temperatur es, preserving both colors and fabrics. These results are
obtained also due to the multiple dier ent specic movements of the
drum which best take care of the garments.
Po wder and liquid detergents are r ecommended for this option.
Start in (Star t Delay)
T o set a delayed start for the selected cycle, press the corresponding
button repeatedly un til the desired delay period is reached. When this
option has been activated, the symbol lights up on the display . T o
remove the dela yed star t setting, pr ess the button until “OFF” appears on
the display .
T emperature
Each wash cycle has a pre- dened temperature . T o modify the
temperature , press the “T emp .” button. The value will appear on the
display .
Spin
Each wash cycle has a pre- dened spin speed. T o modify the spin speed,
press the “Schleudern ” button. The v alue will appear on the display.
DESCALE AND CLEAN PR OCEDURE

that is time to run a maintenance c ycle to clean th e washing machine an d
combat limes cale buil d- up and bad o dours .

remover , according to the i nstruc tions show n on the pack age.

TIPS AND SUGGESTIONS
Divide the laundry according to:
T y pe of f abric (cotton, mixe d bres, s ynthetic s, woo l, garme nts to be
hand- washed ). C o lour (separate colo ured garm ents f rom whites, wash n ew
coloure d garment s separ ately). Delicates (small garment s – such as nylon
stock ings – and items wi th hook s – such as br as: inser t them in a f abric b ag) .
Empty the pockets:
Objects such as coins or lighters can damage the washing machine and
the drum. Check all buttons.
Follo w the dosage recommendation / additives
It optimize s the cleaning result , it avoids irritatin g residues of surp lus deterge nt
in your laundr y and i t saves money by avoiding was te of surplus deter gent
Use low temper ature and longer duration
The most ecient progr ammes in terms of energy consumption are
generally those that perform at lower temperatur es and longer duration.
Observe the load sizes
Load your w ashing machine up to the capacity indicated in the
“PROGRAMME CHART ” table to save wat er and energy.
Noise and remaining moisture c ontent
They are inf lu enced by the spin ning spe ed: the highe r the spinning sp ee d in the
spinning phas e, the higher th e noise and the l ower the remainin g moisture content.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
F or any cleaning and maintenance, switch o and unplug the w ashing
machine. Do not use ammable uids to clean the washing machine . Clean
and maintain your washing machine periodic ally (at least 4 times per year).
Cutting o the wa ter and electricit y supplies
Close the water tap after every wash. This will limit wear on the hy draulic
system inside the washing machine and help to pr event leaks.
Unplug the washing machine when cleaning it and during all
maintenance work.
Cleaning the washing machine
The outer parts and rubber components of the appliance can be cleaned using
a soft cloth soaked in lukewarm soapy water . Do not use solvents or abrasives.
Cleaning the detergent dispenser dr awer
Remove the dispenser draw er by lifting and pulling it outwards. Wash it
under running water; this procedur e should be eected regularly .
Caring for the door and drum
Always lea ve the por thole door ajar in order to prev ent unpleasant odours
from forming .
Cleaning the pump
The washin g machine is t ted with a s elf- cleaning pu mp that does not r equire
any maintenance. Small items (such as coins or butto ns ) may som etimes fa ll
into the protec tive pre - chamb er situated at the b ase of the pum p.
! Make sure that the wash cycle has ended and unplug the appliance.
T o access the pre- chamber:
1 . remove the covering p anel on the f ront side of th e machine by inser ting
a screwdriver in th e centre and sides of th e panel an d using it as a lever;
2. place a low and wide container under the wa ter lter in order to collect
the residual water .
3. loosen the drainage pump cov er by turning it anti- clockwise: it is
normal for some water t o leak out;
4. clean the inside thoroughly;
5. screw the cov er back on;
6. put the panel back in place, making sure the hooks slot in place bef ore
pushing the panel onto the appliance .
Checking the water inlet hose
Check the water inlet hose at least once a y ear . If it is cracked or broken, it
must be replaced: during wash cycles, the high pr essure of the water
could suddenly split the hose open.
! Never use hoses that hav e already been used.

Stacking kit
With this acc essor y you can secure the tumble dryer to the upper part of
your washing machine to sa ve space and facilitate loading and unloading
of the tumble dryer .
TRANSPORT AND HANDLING
Do not lift the washing machine by gripping it from the upper section.
Unplug the appliance and close the water tap . Check that the door and
detergent dispenser dra wer are tightly closed. Detach the lling hose
from the water tap then detach the dr ain hose. Empty all the water
remaining in the hoses and secure the latt er so that they do not get
damaged during transport. Apply the transpor t bolts back on. Repeat, in
reverse or der , the transpor t bolt removal pr ocedure described in the
“Installation instructions” .
