The socket panel
You can connect the hard disc
recorder to your television via the
socket panel on the rear.
Consult the guide enclosed with
externally connected equipment to
ensure that it is connected correctly.

For connection of an IR transmitter for use with a
set-top box.
Y/C INPUT
For connection of a set-top box or other equipment
with Y/C output.
If the product you wish to connect to the hard disc
recorder offers both 21-pin AV connection and
connection via the Y/C INPUT socket, we
recommend that you make both connections. This
ensures optimum picture quality.
TV (21-pin)
21-pin socket for connection to your television.
AUX
21-pin socket for connection of extra video
equipment, such as a set-top box.
Aerial input socket from your external aerial or
cable TV network.
TV (aerial)
Aerial output socket for connection to your tele-
vision.
