Authorise viewing of a disc
Enter the Child Lock code to authorise either
a single playback or unlimited playback of a
loaded disc.

When you load a new DVD…
The CHILD PROTECT menu is shown*.
> To authorise a single playback of the loaded
disc, press

or
▼
to move the cursor to
‘Play once’.
> To authorise unsupervised playback of a loaded
disc, move the cursor to ‘Play Always’.
> Use the number buttons on Beo4 to enter your
PIN-code.
To cancel a previous authorisation…
> Begin playback of the disc.
> Press STOP when the ‘SAFE’ message is
displayed in the Temporary Feedback window.
The ‘Child Protect’ menu is shown.

DVD 1 can store up to 120 DVD titles. A title is
added to the list when ‘Play always’ is chosen on
the ‘Child Protect’ menu. If the list is full and a
new title is added, the oldest title entry is
removed from the list. All discs in a multi-disc set
must be approved to make the whole set child
safe.
