De aardfoutcircuitonderbreker (GFCI) of de aardlekschakelaar
(RCD) is een belangrijk veiligheidsapparaat en is vereist voor
apparatuur in een spa installatie.
(De GFCI-testfunctie is niet beschikbaar op systemen met
CE-markering.)
Wordt gebruikt voor het verifiëren van
een juiste installatie
Uw spa kan zijn uitgerust met een GFCI-beschermingsfunctie. Als uw
spa deze functie heeft ingeschakeld door de fabrikant, moet de
GFCI-triptest plaatsvinden om de juiste spa-functie toe te staan.
Op sommige systemen:
Binnen 1 tot 7 dagen na het opstarten zal de spa de GFCI uitschakelen om het te testen. (Het aantal dagen is in
de fabriek geprogrammeerd.) De GFCI moet gereset worden zodra hij geactiveerd is. Na het passeren van de
GFCI-uitschakeltest, geven eventuele volgende GFCI-ritten een fout of een andere onveilige situatie aan en moet
de stroom naar de spa worden uitgeschakeld totdat een servicemonteur het probleem kan verhelpen.
De GFCI-triptest afdwingen (alleen Noord-Amerika)
Als u het GFCI testpictogram op het Utilities (Hulpprogramma’s) scherm aanraakt, gaat u naar het scherm GFCI-test.
Het installatieprogramma kan ervoor zorgen dat de GFCI-triptest eerder plaatsvindt door op Test te drukken op het scherm
GFCI-test. De GFCI moet binnen enkele seconden worden geactiveerd en de spa moet worden uitgeschakeld. Als dit niet het
geval is, zet u de stroom uit en controleert u handmatig of er een GFCI-schakelaar is geïnstalleerd en of het circuit en de spa
correct zijn aangesloten. Controleer de functie van de GFCI met zijn eigen testknop. Herstel de stroomtoevoer naar de spa en
herhaal de GFCI-triptest. Nadat de GFCI door de test is geactiveerd, reset u de GFCI en zal de spa vanaf dat moment normaal
functioneren. U kunt een succesvolle test verifiëren door naar het bovenstaande scherm te gaan. "Passed" verschijnt nadat de
Reset regel is geselecteerd op het GFCI-scherm.
Waarschuwing:
Op systemen die de GFCI automatisch testen binnen 1 tot 7 dagen na het opstarten:
- De eindgebruiker moet worden opgeleid om deze eenmalige test uit te voeren.
- De eindgebruiker moet zijn getraind in het correct resetten van de GFCI.
- Als er bevriezingscondities zijn, moet de GFCI of RCD onmiddellijk worden gereset anders kan er schade aan
de spa ontstaan.
CE Product:
CE-geregistreerde systemen hebben vanwege de aard van de elektrische service geen RCD-testfunctie.
Sommige UL-geregistreerde systemen hebben de GFCI-testfunctie niet geactiveerd.
De eindgebruiker moet zijn getraind in het correct testen en resetten van de verliesstroomschakelaar.
Reset Knop:
Gebruik de Reset knop alleen voordat u de spa naar een nieuwe locatie heeft verplaatst.
Als u op de Reset knop drukt, wordt een nieuwe test op de nieuwe locatie uitgevoerd.
