Thank you for choosing our Babymoov "Silver Dream" Travel Cot. We hope you will be satisfied with
your purchase.
IMPORTANT:
Please keep for future reference – Read carefully. Please read our washing and care instructions too,
so you can make the most of your travel cot for many years to come.
RECOMMENDATIONS FOR CARE AND USE
The material used to make this cot meets the criteria of the AZO non-discoloration values, standards EN 71-2 and EN 71-3. However, we advise you
n
ot to expose the product to sunlight for long periods of time. We cannot accept any claims for damage because of wear by friction or fading of
colours due to exposure to sunlight. The fabric bag that comes with your travel cot is washable. You can machine wash it cold or hand wash it.
PUTTING UP THE COT
1 - Remove the cot from its travel bag and undo the Velcro fasteners. Leave the mattress to the side.
2 - Spread open the four sides of your travel cot. The cot legs should be on the floor.
3 - Pull the shortest cross bars upward and then the longest ones until they interlock. Make sure that the cross bars do not unlock and that it is impossible
t
o collapse them.
4 - Press the frame so that the bottom of the cot is flat. You can now place the mattress in the bottom of your travel cot.
FOLDING THE COT
5 - Remove the mattress.
6 - Pull the tab at the bottom of the cot as far upwards as possible. Take hold of the cross bars two by two and press the clip buttons that are in
the middle of the cross bars. Now collapse the cross bars and keep the button pressed. Your cot is folded.
7 - Place the mattress around the cot and fix it with the Velcro fasteners. Put the cot into its travel bag. You can now carry your cot using the handle
or shoulder strap.
ASSEMBLING THE BASSINET
8 - Remove the bassinet and the 4 tubes from the travel bag. Connect the tubes two by two.
9 - At the bottom of the bassinet, place the 2 tubes in the positioners provided. Undo the Velcro fasteners to insert the tubes and do them up again.
Install the bassinet by hanging the plastic hooks around the cot. Make sure that all the hooks are firmly attached and place the mattress at the
bottom of the bassinet.
The Silver Dream travel cot can no longer be used in the top position (with the bassinette) when children can roll over on to their tummy on their
own. The bassinette must be removed before the cot can be used in the lower position.
ASSEMBLING THE CHANGING MAT
10 - Remove the changing mat and the two tubes from the travel bag. Fit the two tubes (with the spring-loaded button) to the tubes already in the
changing mat.
CAUTION: make sure that the tubes are fitted so that the clips are facing the inside of the changing mat.
11 - Make sure you fix the snap fasteners that are on the sides and corners beneath the changing mat. To place the changing mat on the cot, fit
the 6 plastic hooks to the sides of the cot and to the corners of one of the 2 sides of the cot (“pouch” side or “window” side). Make sure that
these hooks are firmly latched. You can now clip your changing mat to the cot; make sure it is firmly clicked home.
Finally, make sure the zip that is located on the “pouch” side of the changing mat at the end of one of the 2 sides of the cot (“pouch” or
“window” side) is done up. Make sure this zip is done up all the way.
USING THE MUSIC BOX / NIGHT LIGHT / TIMER
12 - Before you can operate the music box, night light and timer, you need to insert the
batteries in their casing located on one side of the cot. Use a cross-tip screwdriver
(not supplied) to remove the battery cover. Insert two AA batteries (not supplied)
and fit the cover, tightening the screws back home using the screwdriver. Do not
over-tighten.
The night light and music functions have a timer and can operate together
or separately.
The two buttons for the music allow you to choose loud music by using the button
and softer music by using the button.
To switch on the night light, press the button once for 5 minutes, twice for 10
minutes, three times for 15 minutes and four times to switch it off.
To switch on the loud music function, press the button once for 5 minutes, twice
for 10 minutes, three times for 15 minutes and four times to switch it off.
To switch on the soft music function, press the button once for 5 minutes, twice
for 10 minutes, three times for 15 minutes and four times to switch it off.
