PHONEBOOK
1. Your phonebook stores information such as: name, phone number, ring set. The cell
phone supports 1000 contacts.
2. Add new contact: Select “Phonebook”
Select “Add new contact”
Enter the name,
number and caller ringtone
Save the contact by pressing the Middle Key or under
“Options”
Confirm with “Yes”
3. Search contact: Select “Phonebook”
Enter the first letter of the contact to get a
list with all contacts with this first letter
Please note: To use this function the contacts must be saved on the mobile phone
(not on SIM1/SIM2).
4. If you want to call somebody from the phonebook, you have two possibilities:
4.1. Select “Phonebook”
Select the contact, who should be called
Press the
Green Key or “Options” and “Call”
Choose the SIM card (if you have inserted two
SIM cards), then press “OK”
4.2. In standby mode press a numeric key (2 - 9) to set up a speed dial call.
Please note: To use this function it has to be activated and contacts need to be
defined. For more information see “Speed dial numbers”
5. Copy or move contact: Select “Phonebook”
Choose a contact and select
“Options”
Copy or move the contact from SIM1 (SIM2, phone) to the phone
(SIM1, SIM2)
6. Delete contact: Select “Phonebook”
Choose a contact and select “Options”
“Delete”
Confirm with “Yes”
MESSAGES
1. Write a message: Select “Message”
Select “Write message”
Choose between
“Text message” (SMS) or “Multimedia message” (MMS)
2. In “Inbox” you find all received messages. In “Outbox” you find all not sent but saved
messages. In “Drafts” you find all saved messages. In “Sent messages” you find all sent
messages.
Text messages (SMS)
1. Press the # Key to change the insert method
2. Press the * Key to add a symbol
3. After finishing the text, select “Options”
Select “Send to” to add a contact or a
number
Select “Options”
Select “Send” to send the SMS or edit the recipient
Multimedia messages (MMS)
1. Press the # Key to change the insert method
2. Press the * Key to add a symbol
3. Select “Options”
Select “Add picture/sound/video/subject” to add
a file to the MMS
4. Select “Options”
Select “Preview MMS” to watch your MMS
5. After finishing the MMS, select “Options”
Select “Send to” to add a contact or a
number
Select “Options” to send the MMS or edit the recipient
Please note: To send a MMS you have to add a data account. For more information
