4. Features
This camera is equipped with a Sony EXMOR CMOS image sensor and a high performance image DSP.
The EXMOR high-speed CMOS sensor has enhanced noise reduction and A/D conversion speed. This new
chipset gives a video signal up to 1000 TV lines. The IR-cut filter will filter the IR light, so it cannot
distort the colour image. When it gets dark, the camera automatically switches to night mode. In night
mode, the camera enables the IR LEDs and disables the IR-cut filter.

6. Hardware Installation
1. Choose a location for the camera, keeping the following guidelines in mind:
o Do not install the camera in locations where extremely high or low temperatures or excessive
vibrations may occur. Do not install near heating or cooling devices.
o Avoid mounting the camera near high electro-magnetic fields.
o Do not aim the camera at the sun or other extremely bright objects or reflections (e.g. metal
doors). This may damage the image sensor.
2. Use the mounting bracket [4] to determine the location of the mounting holes. Drill the holes and
secure the bracket using 3 screws.
3. Connect the power connector [B] to a 12 VDC power supply (not incl.).
4. Connect the BNC connector [A] to a monitor (not incl.).
Note: for optimal image quality, keep the power and video cables as short as possible.
5. To ensure the camera is sufficiently protected against moisture, cover the power and video connectors
(for example using insulating tape).
6. Use a hex key to loosen the positioning screws in the joint [7,8,9]. Point the camera towards the field
of interest and then tighten all the screws again.
7. Use a hex key to adjust the zoom [5] and focus [6].
8. Slide the sun shield [1] over the camera and fix it with the screw.
