•FRITZ!DECT210 is intended for

operation in a dry location that is

protected from direct sunlight and

well ventilated.

•FRITZ!DECT 210 has splash protection.

FRITZ!DECT 210 may not be subjected

to a direct stream of water or direct

rain. Splash protection is classiﬁ ed as

IP44 only when each of the compo-

nents, plug and socket, have the same

protection class (IP44).

•Insert FRITZ!DECT 210 into an electri-

cal outlet that is easy to reach.

•FRITZ!DECT 210 devices cannot be

plugged together.

•FRITZ!DECT 210 can be subjected to a

maximum load of up to 3450W/15A,

the speciﬁ ed output limit. Overloading

can damage FRITZ!DECT 210 and

result in malfunction or an electrical

accident.

•No devices that present a risk of ﬁ re

may be operated unsupervised at the

FRITZ!DECT210 socket (for instance,

electric irons, radiant heaters, electric

grills).

•FRITZ!DECT210 may not be altered,

converted, modiﬁ ed or repaired ex-

cept by a qualiﬁ ed technician. Do not

open FRITZ!DECT210!

•Make sure that your electrical ap-

pliances are switched oﬀ while you

connect them to FRITZ!DECT 210.

•Frequent switching can shorten the

service life of electrical devices. Con-

ﬁ gure automatic switching at frequent

intervals in FRITZ!DECT210 only if

the connected devices are designed

for such operation. No liability will

be accepted for attendant damage to

corresponding devices.

FRITZ!DECT210 is a smart plug for the

home network.

FRITZ!DECT210 switches electrical de-

vices on and oﬀ automatically according

to your speciﬁ cations. You can control

FRITZ!DECT210 manually with your

smartphone, your tablet or a cordless

FRITZ!Fon, or conﬁ gure it for automatic

control, for instance with a weekly calen-

dar or a Google calendar.

FRITZ!DECT210 measures the power

consumption of connected electrical

devices. You have the option of receiving

these measurement values in a regular

email message.

FRITZ!DECT210 is easy to set up and

operate over the FRITZ!Box, be it at the

home computer or via the internet when

you‘re away from home.

The connection to the FRITZ!Box is estab-

lished using DECT radio.
