13.3 Allumage
Pour garantir un fonctionnement correct et sûr du foyer, veillez à ce que le tirage du conduit de chemi-
née soit suffisant. Le tirage doit être contrôlé, surtout à chaque première (re)mise en service (après
l'été) et aux changements de saison (p. ex.: vent fort, brouillard, etc.). Pour ce faire, tenez une allu-
mette ou un briquet allumé devant la porte ouverte du foyer. Si la flamme n'est pas attirée vers l'inté-
rieur du foyer, allumez du papier ou du petit bois pour que ce fort dégagement de chaleur crée un ti-
rage dans la cheminée. Si cela ne marche pas, renoncez à utiliser le foyer!
1) Mettre la manette de régulation de l'air tout à gauche,
en position «+»
2) Si disponible, ouvrir entièrement le modérateur de ti-
rage.

3) Déposez d'abord 2 ou 3 bûches (1) (hêtre, chêne,
bouleau) transversalement dans le foyer.
4) Mettez par-dessus du petit bois tendre (2).
5) Déposez au centre un allume-feu (3) et allumez-le.
ðPour l'allumage, n'utilisez jamais de l'essence, de
l'éthanol ou autre produit similaire!

6) Dès que les bûches commencent à être bien en feu,
au bout de quelques minutes, refermer la manette de
régulation de l'air de moitié environ (ramener la ma-
nette au centre) ou, si disponible, refermer le modéra-
teur de tirage de 50% (tourner le papillon vers la
gauche).
