• Only use good quality/name brand batteries.

• Do not mix old and new batteries.

• Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable (nickel-

cadmium) batteries.

• If the unit is not going to be used for an extended period of time, please

remove the batteries. Using old, leaking or cheaply made batteries can

cause damage to the unit and may void the warranty.

• Do not try to recharge batteries not intended to be recharged; they can

overheat and rupture. (Follow battery manufacturer’s directions).

• Do not dispose of batteries in re, batteries may leak or explode.

result in an explosion or the leakage of ammable liquid or gas.

• Disposal of a batteries into re or a hot oven, or mechanically crushing

or cutting of batteries can result in an explosion.
