3. Press the or key to choose Inbox
All Del or Outbox All Del then press the
SELECT soft key.
Result: •Inbox All Del deletes all of the messages stored
in the Inbox.
•Outbox All Del deletes all of the messages
stored in the Outbox.
4. When the confirming message displays,
press the SELECT soft key.
To cancel the selection, press the BACK
soft key.
5. To exit, press the key.
Setting Public Keys
With this feature, you can prevent an unauthorized
person from accessing your private messages. You
can store up to 3 public keys. After setting your
public key, you can give the public key to any one
needing to send you a private message.
When you receive a message protected by a public
key, the message cannot be opened unless you enter
the specified password.
To set the public key:
1. Press the SMS key to display the SMS
menu items.
Or, press the MENU soft key to display
the Main menu items, choose Favorite,
and select 1:SMS by pressing the
SELECT soft key.
2. Press the or key to choose the
6:Key Settings option, and press the
SELECT soft key.
3. Press the or key to choose the
desired memory cell, and press the
SELECT soft key.
4. Enter the public key you want to use by
using the alphanumeric keys, and press
the SELECT soft key.
Result: You can enter up to 5 characters.
5. Enter a 4-digit password, and press the
SELECT soft key.
6. Enter the password once again, and press
the SELECT soft key.
7. To exit, press the key.
