• Se vi è presenza di sudore sulla fronte,
rilevare la temperatura dietro al lobo
auricolare. Prima di tutto, spostare tutti
i capelli di lato per lasciare libera l’area
e attendere circa 30 secondi prima di
eseguire la misurazione (vedi proced.
misurazione).
• Può essere difficile rilevare la temperatura di un bambino
piccolo, poiché di solito sono coperti da copertine o abiti.
Spostare lateralmente l’abito o la copertina che coprono
l’area della nuca per circa 30 secondi e ripetere la misura-
zione. Se si ritiene che la temperatura dietro al lobo aurico-
lare sia troppo bassa o qualora non vi sia formazione di
sudore, confrontare almeno una volta il valore rilevato con
la misurazione della temperatura frontale.
• Il sudore provoca un ulteriore raffreddamento della pelle
che porta a un rilevamento basso erroneo della temperatu-
ra. Per tale motivo non si consiglia di rilevare la temperatu-
ra dopo aver asciugato la fronte.
• Attendere almeno 30 secondi prima di misurare ancora
nella stessa area, onde evitare un eccessivo raffreddamen-
to della pelle.
Campi di temperatura
Per temperatura corporea si intende la temperatura interna
del corpo. La temperatura normale anche in persone sane
varia leggermente entro un piccolo intervallo. La temperatura
misurata la sera su una persona è normalmente superiore di
0,5 °C rispetto a quella misurata al mattino presto. Può esse-
re influenzata anche dall’ambiente, dall’ora e dall’attività. Con-
sultare la seguente illustrazione per rilevare i normali intervalli
di temperatura corporea.
