4.4. Handsfree facility

Press the green call button

twice at the start of a call. You will now

hear the dialling tone or the person you are speaking to over the

loudspeaker in the handset.

By pressing the green call button repeatedly, you can change over

between normal and handsfree mode during a call.

4.5. Setting the receiver and handsfree volume

If the receiver or the handsfree volume is too quiet or too loud for you,

you can change this to suit your requirements.

You can adjust the volume during a call by means of the and

buttons. The selected volume 1 to 4 will be shown in the display.

4.6. Call duration display

The call duration in minutes and seconds is shown in the display during

a call. A few seconds after dialling, the display will switch from showing

the number dialled to showing the duration of the call. The call duration

will still be retained in the display for a few seconds after the call has

been ended.

4.7. Muting the microphone in the handset

You can turn off the handset microphone during a call by using the

button. It is thus possible to speak without the other person

hearing you. The loudspeaker in the handset remains switched on and

you can continue to hear the other person.

Press the button once during a call. The message Secrecy On

will appear in the display.

To switch the microphone on again, press the button once

more. The Secrecy On message will go off and you can continue the

call as normal.
