Registering/de-registering handsets
11 Registering/de-registering handsets
Four handsets can be registered to a base station (desktop telephone). The handsets delivered with
your telephone are already registered. To register a “foreign” handset please refer to it’s user manu-
al.
Registering a handset of the same type
On the handset
Press the menu key.
/ Select
REGISTRATION
and press
OK
.
/ Select a base station and press
OK
. The relevant base is marked with a “
+
“.
Enter the relevant PIN for the base, the new handset should be registered on, and
press
OK
.
On the desktop telephone
Press the menu key.
/ Select
REGISTRATION
and press
OK
.
After a few seconds the handset is registered.
Deleting a handset
Press the menu key.
/ Select
SETTINGS
(on the desktop telephone) or
BS SETTINGS
(on the handset) and
press
OK
.
/ Select
DELETE HS
and press
OK
.
Enter the relevant PIN (default 0 0 0 0) and press
OK
.
/ Select the handset you want to delete and press
OK
.
☞ Warning: Only delete a handset if you no longer want it to work on your DECT system.
